Our Finnish grandparents brewed mushrooms when they couldn’t get coffee. Turns out those mushrooms—Chaga—are a powerful, immune-supporting Four Sigmatic food. That gave us an idea.

Not really as advertised
This is the third time I’ve bought this item and the picture has remained the same. It’s a canister in all of their pictures and on their storefront still. I’m waiting for my second one to arrive as they were shipped separately and still shows a canister just as this one shows a canister was delivered. As you can see, it’s not. It’s in a pouch. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but it makes it very difficult to get to the product AND there isn’t a scooper now so how are you supposed to consistently measure the product, weigh out 2g every single time? Yeah I could but that just makes it more difficult to use. I mix it in my coffee pot every morning and this is just a pain. Advertise it as you are going to sell it. I’m sure it was for cost purposes but the price sure as heck didn’t go down. It’s gone up over the times I’ve purchased it. I’m overly annoyed by this.As for taste and smell, there isn’t one if you mix it in enough food or liquid but either way, it doesn’t have that bad of a taste honestly. Almost organic chocolate taste. No it doesn’t taste sweet, but like a bitter dark chocolate. Maybe I’m weird but I don’t find it horrible.
