Product Description

The WindyNation ANL Fuse Holder with fuses are used in electrical systems in which the fuse is designed to burn out when the current exceeds the safe limit for the device being protected by the fuse. It is the end user's responsibility to determine the appropriate fuse size for the electrical circuit. In general, the fuse should be sized at approximately 1.30 times the rated power of the device being protected by the fuse.

The screw holes in the plastIc base are a bit small for the size of the nut that need to be tightened down when setting the wires. Kind of felt like the base of the fuse holder would fail while tightening the fuse down. I would buy again.

I used this as a main fuse in my off the grid solar battery box. The fuse holder cover barely stays on and falls off anytime I open up the battery box. I tried to stretch the cover open in order for the locking tabs to engage better, but it did not seem to help. I will not purchase any additional electrical components from this manufacturer.

Cheap fuses that do not blow at rated amperage. Tested a 30 amp fuse with loads at 40-60 amps over a several minute period. The fuses did not blow until 80 amps. Blue seas breaker will trip within 1 min at 40 amps.
