This is my only expansion so far and its absolutely amazing.
Lets start with the gameplay.
It comes with way more behavior cards than needed which is really good, it means each fight could play out differently and even after a few fights you could see a new attack. The battle does take a bit of time thanks to its high defense stats and massive hp pool, this can be good or bad depending on who you ask, for me I think its good. I don't think it would be "mega-boss" if you could kill it in 10 minutes. I bought it thinking it would be similar in length to an epic raid boss on an MMO or something and I wasn't disappointed. I won't spoil and mechanics or the level 4 encounters but I will say the level 4 encounters are my favorite encounters in the game so far that I've played.
Now lets get to the miniature.
The miniature is of great quality, lots of detail and feels really sturdy. Mine had bent horns and problems getting the wings in but the hot water trick fixed both of those issues in a few minutes. It comes on a huge 150mm base which is double the size of the core game bosses.
Now the card.
It comes with the main stat block card in multiple languages, 8 strafe cards, 1 heat up card, 2 signature cards, and 13 standard behavior cards, and 2 treasure cards in multiple languages. The rulebook also includes a new campaign for this expansion that continues where the first campaign in the core rulebook leaves off.
Despite the few issues with the model (hard to assemble wings and bent horns) I have to give it a 5 out of 5. The miniature could also work for D&D or Pathfinder, I'm using it as a colossal dragon for Pathfinder and just for the Miniature alone I think It's well worth the $35

The Black Dragon Kalameet expansion is intended for use with Dark Souls: the Board Game. Black Dragon Kalameet is a Mega Boss, a powerful enemy players can face after fighting through numerous encounters, a Mini Boss, and a Main Boss.
Legend tells that long ago, before the forgotten kingdom of Oolacile was swallowed by the Abyss, the last of the ancient Everlasting Dragons made his home in that land. Known as the one-eyed dragon to the unwise, Black Dragon Kalameet was as dark in colour and nature as his true name suggests, the only spark of light the glowing chaos gem between his eyes. Of that terrible stone no accounts speak, other than to say that it was imbedded into his very flesh, the crimson glow devoid of all warmth.
Even now, those whom remember that time speak of the terrible wrath of Black Dragon Kalameet, the Bringer of Calamity. Ever one of the most belligerent dragons, after the Sunlight Spears wielded by Gwyn stripped him of his stone skin, Kalameet become more akin to feral beasts than his fellows.
Only by the efforts of an unknown and unsung hero was the last of the true dragons felled, aided by the mighty arm of Hawkeye Gough, Leader of the Dragonslayers. Without such mythical heroes, you must surely have no hope against the black dragon and his malevolent Mark of Calamity, no matter your courage or determination.

I was impressed how awesome the figure is one of the wings was hard to snap in place they don't line up 100% but I may use some kind of fill puddy before I paint it

A tal riguardo, come hanno detto gli sviluppatori sul loro canale youtube, a volte si possono piegare delle parti per vari fattori, si può rimettere in sesto una miniatura afflitta da questi problemi immergendo nell'acqua calda la parte interessata per rimodellarla a mano.
Acqua calda e rigorosamente non bollente, suppongo per non rovinare una miniatura.
Le parti staccabili come le ali di Kalameet o la coda del demone vagante soffrono anch'esse di questi problemi, si esegue la stessa procedura per rimodellare l'attaccatura, ricordatevi di asciugare prima di inserire.
