I got the 6'6 MH for a casting reel. It's very firm. Little play throughout the entire length of the rod. I'm happy with it but I like a bit more movement in the end of a fast action rod. Works good for my first baitcaster though. I'm very curious how the medium action 6'6 or the medium heavy 7' would compare to my reelA+ on packaging btw. If there are any issues with this rod, none of them occurred after packaging lol I was very worried about ordering basically a 6'+ fragile stick in the mail, but this one came very well protected

Paired this rod to a Duckett 300 reel and I have to say that this combo is a bass destroyer. The medium 7' has lots of parabolic movement and at the base has a sturdy backbone. The tip is very sensitive and the action allows for tension to be maintained from hook-up. Yesterday I caught a 4.73 lber and this rod kept her hooked perfectly. I have been having problems with stiffer rods pulling the jig out of mouth or throwing the hook during the fight. With this rod I am catching way more fish per hook up. All I have to say is stiffer is not always better. Very pleased with my purchase and I hope this helps anyone looking at a great new rod that performs like rods 4 times the price or better.

This rod is very nice, but I did purchase it for $36bux new. It is 24 carbon vs the newest out there of 30+ but i use this over many rods I have that are in the $150 range. You can't beat it for the price and the sensitivity and weight is very nice. Pair it with a 2000 or 3000 reel and your good to go for bass all day. It also has a great backbone for setting the hook while texas rig worm or jig

used this rod five times, the largest eyelet broke in half, while reeling in a redfish. upon close inspection, I noticed all the eyelets becoming corroded. Disappointing since it was advertised that it had "Stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts".

It worked great at first and I really liked the rod, but on my 4th trip to the lake, the rod snapped clean in half while I was casting it! I was just casting a quarter ounce shakeyhead with a worm on it, and that somehow caused it to snap. Can’t return because it’s been more than 30 days. I’m hoping it was just a defected rod and would really like a replacement to give it another shot because it felt good in my hands and I liked using it until it broke.
