    Okay so I was very picky with the product I chose for payment methods.The square phone plug in had mixed reviews about it not being compatible with some phones, and other terminals were too cheap with not enough versatility. (No tap to pay, no chip just swipe or overall not great reviews) and when I peeked at this one all the reviews were A1 sauce- it was perfect!So now I give you my take, while waiting to scavenge up my money and it being on sale I pounced on this terminal like a tiger on a gazelle. And boy I do not regret it!!I’m a dog groomer and working from my house, customers love the options I have with payments such as cash, apps and this fun gadget!It takes a little while to set up but it’s easy and not that time consuming. Personally it took me 30 minutes to do.Once they’ve verified your bank info, payments only take about a day or two to show in your account.You can of course print the receipt or to save paper you can also text or email it to your clients!I definitely don’t see myself replacing this terminal any time soon! I’ll update the review if I feel like anything is more worthy.Unless you’re waiting for it to go on sale, there is no reason you shouldn’t grab this terminal over others.

    My husband is a Taxi Driver, and is running credit cards all the time. He has been wanting one of these for a while, so he could give customers, paper receipts. I got this for him, for a Christmas present, and so far he has loved it. I will be honest, I was the one to set it up for him, and it was a bit of a pain in the butt doing so. There were no instructions, and some of it was confusing. They really should include a manual or something. Other than that, we are happy with it.

    I bought this for the craft cocktail full service bar I run in order to have a handheld that we could use at tables to take orders, start tabs, and save credit card info for ease of checkout. This allows you to do none of these things. This device is 5x more expensive than just a Square card reader and it has fewer features! If you use it to close checks it doesn't allow you to split checks by amount which is just baffling.

    If you are considering buying this I'll save you the hassle. Buy a bare bones iPad instead and a Square card reader. The iPad also lets you do all of the other things iPads do. If I'm going to buy a $300 device for a specific task it should ADD functionality and value.

    The only situation where this would be useful is if you need to be able to print customer receipts.

    Simple & small for traveling to trade shows. Print a paper receipt. All the features of square in a small unit. Con: will only allow sales tax to be set at whole number. Go into phone or ipad Square app to change sales tax to hundredths. ie. 9.25% changes to 10% when you save.
