I wish I had studied electronic in school but at my age of 78, I have to believe it works because I have no fancy gauge to verify the item is functioning. A rebuilt battery is over $400 and way beyond my prayers. If the lottery comes thru maybe I can buy one.

Even though the voltage and amperage listed were a match, when installed the unit could not power the recliner if a person was seated in the chair. Unloaded chair would operate, but loaded chair would not. So I must assume that the specs were not a match. Either that or the unit I received was defective. Returned to Amazon for refund.
