Purchase options and add-ons

Bestselling author Anthony DeStefano brings the vain and possession-loving Roxy the camel to life to demonstrate the familiar Bible verse: It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Little ones ages three and older will learn that possessions are only things...and definitely NOT the most important things.

Brightly illustrated by Richard Cowdrey and written in engaging, funny rhyme, this storybook follows Roxy's journey from her waterless home in the desert to a great city of beauty she's heard about but never seen. Along the way she learns that the only way to attain true happiness is to share—or even give away—what she possesses.

My kids loved when I read them Dr. Seuss books because of the fun rhyming, but I wasn’t crazy about them due to all the made up words and nonsensical stories. This book is great because it has the rhymes that make it fun to listen to, large colorful pages, and positive and biblical stories that will be great for my grandkids. I am super pleased with this!

Damage to the spine when it arrived but nothing to make me want to return it! Colors and content are spot-on. Can't wait to read this to my 2 year old bible class when we talk about the Camels. The rhymes are precious and make us laugh. I loved it so much, I bought the Sheep That No One Could Find from the same author!

I bought this for a baby shower as the mom loves loves, loves camels! She asked for books for her yes baby’s library instead of cards. It’s adorable and just perfect for a mom to be who loves camels.

This was a gift and it was perfect because she loves camels but also for the beautiful and fun illustrations on every page. The rhyming of the story also makes it easier for the children to memorize the words.
