    These discs are one of my "go to" tools for metal finishing/cleaning/smoothing. Unlike grinder wheels, these will leave a beautifully smooth surface. Perfect for cleaning mating surfaces and removing old sealant/gasket material. Be careful though as they are designed to remove metal they can also damage your mating surface if you are too aggressive. Love this product and will continue to rely on it!

These work well for cleaning surfaces that have to mate up cleanly (replacing front hub bearings in a truck for instance, and knocking years of rust off the mating surfaces) or for getting into areas that are too small for an angle grinder to clean up. the only thing that could be better is if a backing pad was included with the box for this price, but it's not the end of the world.
