I would recommend getting a scrap board to practice on but otherwise this is perfect!!! I bought the board for $13 at HomeGoods and then made it. Custom boards were upwards of $50 online. NOTE - be sure to also buy the heating unit - this is just the letters.

    First off, these work. Don't get me wrong. But they need DEEPER letters so that you can get a clear burn. They also are a little on the small side, but they do advertise what they are, so not really a complaint there, just an observation that if you want stamp letters, this is your choice as of right now.

    Once someone else makes one with deeper cut letters and in various sizes this one will quickly be overtaken, especially with the post breaking issue, unless Walnut Hollow chooses to step up their game . . . which would please me immensemly, as this this a great concept that just hasn't been tweaked up to the four or five star range yet.

    Si vous avez comme moi un pyrograveur type R100, R300 il vous faudra la pointe n°21 (je crois) sur laquelle vous pouvez adapter des marques à chaud ensuite fabriquer de petites pièces d'environ 1,5 à 2cm les percer au diamètre du filetage c'est un peu plus compliqué. A vous de voir.
    En tout cas cet investissement je ne regrette pas du tout.
