The best travel water bottles I've owned!
I love these gulpy water dispensers. So much I have the 20 oz and the 10 oz. Both are the same, just the size is different. One thing to note is you can not thread int a standard water bottle into the holder.I found this to be disappointing because a long day out will require to pour from a water bottle into this bottle. Not a deal breaker, it just would have been a lot more user friendly if it was interchangeable with standard disposable water bottles.In the photo you'll see the 20 ounce size in the color green, where the 10 ounce version is the color blue.

    Wonderful little invention. We've used gulpy for several years for our two small dogs. We go hiking quite often and they ask for drinks, knowing their gulpy is at hand. Keeps them hydrated and happy, especially after a long bark session on a treed squirrel. We used the fabric collapsible bowls before this and they always ended up leaking after initial use. The gulpy doesn't leak as long as you close it with the easy fold-up hinge. They are plastic, so eventually we managed to crack the plastic of the bowl on our first one, but it was our dropping it too many times on asphalt at fault. Really a sturdy material and no plastic smell or off-gassing either. Notice that the prices will vary widely from different distributors and sometimes for different colors. This light green one was really cheap and the exact same quality as the blue one we bought previously for more money. Great product overall.

    We had one of these purchased from a camping equipment store. It was thrown away during a trip through an airport (thanks TSA), and we ordered this one as a replacement. These are great. Squeeze a little water out into the cup, let Fido, drink, dump the excess. This is so much better than carrying around a plastic bowl or small cup. For one thing, you can squeeze out water a little at a time, and generally the excess will be minimal, and the cup (which flips out from the cap) offers an easy method for dogs to drink.

    This is great for when we take our dog hiking or on long walks. Our 60 lb dogs drinks a ton of water, so we bring two of these wherever we take him. They work great. They don't leak, but they still dispense the water easily when you open it.

    We also purchased a cheaper option, Handi-Drink Dog Water Bottle- 17 Oz - The Portable, Spill-proof Way to Keep Pets Hydrated, Color may vary. It took a while to get here, and it leaks a little. I think the Gulpy is worth the extra money,

    I just ordered 3 more to save on shipping. We have had several of these over the years and all have had the same problem, they eventually crack between the hinges of the trough. Never had one leak when closed though, and our dog loves drinking out of it. She is an active boxer dog and this breed tends to overheat anytime the temp gets much above 60 degrees so this product works well for her. Boxers also have very wide tongues and she seems to have no problem lapping up the water. If they can figure out how to keep these from cracking, I would give it 5 stars, but for under $10 we just figure it will only last a year or so and worth buying despite that issue. Should mention that once they crack it's not just water dripping through the trough (when opened up) that's the problem, the hinges flex and will start to pop out of place and it eventually becomes useless. One thing is to make sure of when watering your dog is to keep the trough part resting on the ground, this will put less stress on the hinges and prolong the life of the product.

    I take my dog with me pretty much everywhere I go and must always have water in the car for him. I used to have to unscrew a jug of water and pour it into a bowl for him. This water bottle is very cool. Just flip down the flange and squeeze the bottle, and presto, a little bowl of water for him. I squeeze the bottle for as long as he wants to drink. Just got back from a 10 day road trip, and it sure made pit/ refreshment stops quicker and easier. I'm very pleased with this item.

    This water dispenser is awful. We purchase on the basis of the reviews. First, the bottle cannot be separated from the water holder so if the dog doesn't drink all the water, you can't put it back in the dispenser. Our dog is on meds that require frequent water intake, but he often will not drink when offered and with this dispenser we have to throw the water out. It's not a waste of money, but it means insufficient water toward the end of our outing.

    Second, the balance isn't there. It may stand up without holding when the tray is empty but the tray (and the attached bottle) fall due to the weight of the water. We have tried everything and every position to get it standing hands free and can't. It appears it isn't designed to be able to do so. I even lean it agains my leg and the minute the dog goes to drink from it, it tilts to the side and the water spills out.

    The really inexpensive alternative works far better but it leaks.

    So I'm back to looking for a good water dispenser. In the meantime, a bottle of water and a foldable cup seems to be the option that works the best.

    We have had this for a while now and it appears to be well made. It is very nice for daily walks and hikes on local trails. Have not used belt clip, however have had it hanging from a carabiner on my day pack every mile and it shows no sign of wear. Very nice and quick. A colapsable bowl is better for end of day or longer rest stops on overnight backpacking trips but this is great for quick stops. Has not leaked when closed and tossed about either. Definitely worth purchasing! Our pitty loves his gullpy :)

    Edit: sad face. So it fell off our table and the bowl part cracked. Won't return as it was our fault but only 3. Starts now, needs a little more supple plastic. So be careful...
