We did OC training today. The process hurt, obviously. What sucks is that the effects are supposed to last 30-60.

I did end up using about four wipes, but it eliminated 95% of the effects within a couple of minutes while the rest of the students were still struggling almost an hour later.

This is simply an outstanding product and a must for any OC exposure.

I used the wipes with a group of 5. 3 out of 5 recieved the 7/15 min effect and worked amazing for them. 1 had good effect but not great. Unfortunately for me I have been sprayed before and know what you go through. It did not work on me and I did get the gluey eyes people complain about. The gluey substance is easy to clean off though so 4-5 is great I’d say. It most likely will work wonders for you.

In the past I've been sprayed with everything from .2-1.3% OC, and was looking for an alternative to try to decontaminate quicker than just fresh air and water, so I bought a pack of these knowing I had to get sprayed again today.

These are not a miracle end-all, but I did notice it took the burn away almost immediately. The first thing I did was wash my hands with Dawn, then washed my face with the same to try to get as much of it off as possible. I know from past experiences water is not your friend in the long run, so immediately after washing and rinsing my face I dried off with a towel and stood in the fresh air. I used one of these to dab my face, and noticed an immediate relief. After another 30 seconds or so I used another, to a total of 4. Within 5 minutes I was able to clearly see, and within 7-10 minutes the burning was all but gone.

They do leave a white residue on your face, which dries into a sticky paste (and tastes pretty good, oddly enough), but I was decontaminated before anyone else in my group was and ended up giving a few of them some wipes. They all noticed immediate relief as well.

I will definitely be adding a few to my daily carry bag, as I was very quickly back into the fight, much quicker than anyone just using water and fresh air.

The sudecon wipes were hard to judge for me. I bought them with hopes after reading the reviews. I'm in the police academy and got sprayed. Unfortunately due to my instructor, I wasn't able to follow their instructions to a T.

I first washed with baby soap, dawn, and baby soap again when I was allowed to the water after the course. I then used a fresh wipe to wipe my face in general. Discarded and used a fresh wipe for around each eye. That's really all that my instructor would allow. I understand I'm supposed to lay one over my face.

I personally didn't feel the relief that the reviews spoke about, however that could truly be due to an instructor that wouldn't allow us relief i.e. walk through the direct sun instead of the shade etc.

I would say it's worth the try, because ANY relief from the suck is good.

I took a chance on these, cuz I got OC sprayed in my academy today. It took most of the class about 30 minutes to recover and decontaminate, but I was up moving with my eyes open in just 10-15 minutes.

That said, your skin will still burn, you should avoid walking in the sun. But my classmates were pretty impressed at how quickly I recovered. It probably was a combination of these wipes, plus my high pain tolerance.

I only used the wipes to wipe my face, cheeks, nose too. I didn’t follow the instruction of dumping the contents of one wipe (by squeezing) onto my face. But I didn’t need to, cuz just wiping and dabbing was enough for me.

I gave some of these to 4 classmates as well. 3 of them said it helped them recover, one said it had no effect on him.

Take that for what it’s worth. But I liked these and will probably buy more if I survive til the end of academy.

So allow me to preface this with I've been sprayed a few times, each until most recently only de-conning with 1 hit of water and then air. This recent time I wanted to see if this product was worth it, and let me tell you it was NOT.

The product, despite being used exactly as directed, created a tacky, glue-like film that actually made it harder for my eyes to open and INCREASED my recovery time.
