    My hubby and I grill out every weekend and at least once a week during the week. The problem is he gets home after dark during the week days so we had to stop grilling during the winter (we live in Ft. Lauderdale so we grill all year round). I got him this light for xmas and we've been very happy with it. It lights up the entire grill, is easy to install and turns on/off easily. We now grill at night when he gets home and don't have to worry about the time. Its been really great!

    This is a sturdy, well made light that works great for winter grilling on the deck. It makes it easy to check the food for doneness and shines very brightly. It is easy to attach to the handle of the grill and remove as well. The pivot allows you to focus the light where you want it and then fold it downward when covering the grill when you are done cooking so it is out of the way. I can highly recommend it.

    The light works just fine but the battery cover is cheap plastic and it broke when replacing the batteries.. I called Brookstone to get a replacement battery cover but they do not have parts for this product. They said they would replace the entire item but since I bought it over a year ago I was out of warranty. I would have been happy to buy a replacement battery cover from them since I am out of warranty but they cannot offer that option. I am disappointed that my only recourse is to spend another $40 plus for a new one. I am done buying anything from Brookstone. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They suggested maybe I could find the part on Ebay or Craig's List...Really... Thanks#%^*%#{!

    I absolutely love this grill light which was a replacement for a previous one. My older one was over five years old, and when it worked, it worked great. However, the one downside ( and my reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is it is not waterproof. My previous one got damaged by water when I forgot to put my grill cover on my grill, and we had a heavy rain storm. I believe the manufacturer claims that it is waterproof, but IT IS NOT. In fact I've read other reviews stating the same thing.

    I BBQ about 4-5 days out of the week all year around and do not have the greatest light in my backyard so this has changed the way I've been Q'in all year! The LED lights are bright enough to check the color of the meat which saves time on running a piece of chicken into the house to check on it. The timer feature is nice but i rarely use it. for my 4 burner kenmore pro i only need the one light. If you have a monster with 7-8 burners you might look into buying a second but definitely start with one and see if you really need the extra.
