Q: Describe your products in 3 words?
A: DIY Electronic Music
Q: How did you come up with the idea for this product?
A: We wanted to create something that you can put together, pull apart, and repeat over and over again. And we also wanted to do something musical - where kids could get creative with sound.
Q: What makes your product special?
A: You can really see how the circuit works because it’s based on a breadboard. There’s a craft element to it as well, because you make your own block.
Q: What has been the best part of your experience?
A: The videos we get sent of kids building and using the kits to make their own music videos.

This has so much potential, but we can’t get ours to work. I think we have a bad piece. The projects that come with it look really cool...but our son is so disappointed when he tries to build something and it doesn’t work😔 Tried to contact the company but they haven’t responded.
I got this as a gift for my twelve year old nephew. I barely understood what it was but found this suggested as a toy for kids who love snap circuits and want more of a challenge. You would have thought he unwrapped tickets to Disney World! He screamed and freaked out. Went on about whether it had samples and looked on the packaging which listed a website for samples. I don’t know exactly what it does but he was over the moon :)
I bought this for my grandson to assemble and he loves it! Took a little time to put it together, but it's nice to have a challenge sometimes. I'd recommend.
Like many families spending unfathomable amounts of time with their children at home, "kits" have become a quick fix. This kit is aimed at teens, and involves some electronic wiring. A tween could easily complete the kit as well, but may need a bit of help pushing in some of the wires. We did not have and ultimately did not need needle nose pliers, but it would have made things a bit easier with one fussy wire we had.
Once assembled, my child was well entertained experimenting with the sounds this device made. It's a very small kit physically, so was great for travel. It does require a 9 volt battery which is not included. Some of the bread board labels are very tiny and difficult for me to read. My child had no problem, but it does require good light and an older person may want their "readers" or a magnifying glass.
I bought this as a gift for my Son and a project for both of us to do together. I'm very familiar w/synths and not afraid of DIY so thought this was perfect. After taking the hour to put together didn't work. Opened ticket w/support and they responded asking me to try a different configuration (This is a 3 in one unit) - still didn't work, where they offered to replace or refund. I wanted it replaced and then they went completely silent on me. Have emailed numerous times with zero correspondence after they two initial replies to have me get the unit working. I wasted 3+ hours and just now initiated a refund and return via amazon, so tack on another 1/2 hour for me to drive, drop-off, and return. Total waste of time and a bummer as it we enjoyed everything up until it not working, would have been fun/educational.
This is a fun and simple solderless breadboard kit. My kids followed the instructions for three projects online with ease (they are 10 and 12). The synth kit is a hit! Highly recommend!
Spent a lot of time so far looking for a link to the instructions on this site and elsewhere. Considering that there is very little to justify the price it wouldn't break the bank to include a paper copy of the instructions. At the least write down the internet address. I'll give it a little more time for searching and then I'll send it back.
He really loved this present as I think it really appeals to teenagers who like music but also like technology and science. Fab idea and well priced and pitched to that age group
A great kit, with everything you need (except a 9V battery) to build three synth circuits, including the legendary Atari Punk. Like all breadboarding projects, manipulating the components is fiddly, but the online instructions are clear. Highly recommended.
It was quite interesting to make although not easy to follow instructions on screen - printed instructions not included. We did manage to create some sounds but it didn't work perfectly and the on/off button didn't seem to work so we have to keep disconnecting the battery.
Purchased for my nephew's Christmas present so haven't opened packaging yet. However, I'm really happy with the very prompt delivery and appears as described - 5 Stars
Looking forward to my nephew opening this on Christmas day.
There are no instructions included. The website that you need to download the instructions for this kit is no longer active. The kit is useless. Sent back for a refund.
