Pillow Talk

Rock Hudson and Doris Day, two of the screen's most popular and enduring stars, light up the screen in Pillow Talk. Rock Hudson and Doris Day are together again! Jerry Webster (Hudson) and Carol Templeton (Day) are rival Madison Avenue advertising executives who each dislike each other's methods. After he steals a client out from under her cute little nose, revenge prompts her to infiltrate his secret "VIP" campaign in order to persuade the mystery product's scientist to switch to her firm. Trouble is, the product is phony and the "scientist" is Jerry, who uses all his intelligence and charm to steal her heart in this outrageous comedy of mistaken identity, co-starring the ever-delightful Tony Randall.

They are all cute movies, definitely of a different era, but still pleasant to watch. I bought this four pack on a whim to give to my mom, as it has likely been some time since she last seen these. It was such a random/for no reason gift that it brought a smile to her face. I will have to borrow them from her at some point and reacquaint myself with this trio of characters.

    I remember these movies from when I was a kid... Still funny! Okay, dated for anyone under 30, maybe even under 40 but I bet you youngsters can get a laugh from these movies too. And for less than a sawbuck, you can't go wrong.

    My favorites are Pillow Talk and Lover Come Back but the others have their humor and entertaining appeal. C'mon, you have Doris Day and Rock Hudson and of course to mention Tony Randall and James Garner (Rockford, another classic). Plus, others just for fun including Paul Lynde.

    So, if you're looking for a little nostalgic entertainment or just something fun and refreshing and wholesome too, I think you'll enjoy these movies.
