I bought these for camping with my kiddos! I have not gotten the chance to use them but plugged some batteries into it and tested it out. MAN these are super bright even on low setting but for 8 dollars a pair I’m not complaining! Think it’s well worth it and even would come in handy with a power outage! Buy them! You know you want to! Lol

I finally had an opportunity to use these small camping lights while on my recent deer hunting trip. I'm still old school and use a 6 man dome tent and these small LED lights really came in handy to illuminate the interior of my tent.
It really helped that they came in a two pack because I used both in my tent. I affixed a long loop of nylon parachute cord to the highest point inside my tent. I mounted one of the LED lights at the top of the cord loop and one at the bottom of the loop. This allows me to turn the lower one on and off while in a prone or sitting position such as when I'm in my sleeping bag and the other while standing. Obviously the upper light provides greater overall lighting to the entire tent's interior but if I'm wanting to do some reading just before hitting the sack the lower light is perfect for that task.
The only reason I'm giving them 4 overall stars is the way the on/off push button operates. The first push turns the light on, the second push dims it slightly and the third causes it to flash. Not sure why you'd need this thing to strobe but it is annoying to say the least and doesn't serve much purpose in my opinion.
Other than this small annoyance, I'm pretty satisfied with these LED lamps.

I've used these camping in arizona, and while on Safari in Kenya and tanzania. Most tents are set up so that you can use them Tethered to the top of the Dome. They really make all the difference.

I cannot recommend these enough. I use this in my son’s bed tent and it’s made it so he sheep’s the night in his room every single night! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The light has three settings: Super bright, medium bright and strobe. We use medium bright at night. I wish we could deactivate the strobe function.

You should definitely buy rechargeable batteries for this though. If you never turn it off (cough cough..my seven year old) the batteries die buy the end of day two. Worth the sanity of always having a backup set charging.
