PUCKET- the world's number 1 game of speed accuracy, and unflappable nerves! In this frantic dexterity game, players race each other to clear the pucks from their side of the board by catapulting them through a small hole leading to the other side (the “gate”). Any pucks that arrive on your side must be sent back before you win. You don't take turns, you play at the same time. Reload and fire as fast as you can! Pucket is our own version of a traditional French game. French artisans would make the game from wood and use cat gut for the elastic, which had to be kept moist during game play to stop it turning limp. The game is still played in France by traditional games enthusiasts. - The frantic, fast-paced, flying puck game - Premium crafted wooden game and pucks - For Ages 8-108 - 2 Players Game Contents - One Wooden Board with Gate in the Middle - Sixteen Wooden Pucks - Two Elastic Bands - One Linen Bag - Instructions Game Events - Gatekeeper's Dinner: When a poorly aimed puck becomes lodged in the gate. More About Pucket
Starting The Game
Place eight pucks on each side of the board. Slide each end of the elastic band into the side grooves so it snaps into place. The two players clap 'high ten' style to start the game.
Fast Flying Pucks
Players use the elastic to launch pucks through the gate until there are no more pucks on their side. Players don't take turns, they just reload and fire as fast as they can. Whoever clears their side of the board first wins.
The Origins Of Pucket
Pucket is our own version of a traditional French game, known as Table à l'elastique. French artisans would make the game from wood and use cat-gut for the elastic, which had to be kept moist during gameplay to stop it from turning limp.
The Punisher Game Variation
The Punisher is a funny variation of play for seasoned players. Every time you fire a puck without it going through the gate, you must take one of your opponent's pucks and put in on your side while reciting 'I accept my punishment.'
Events During The Game
Gatekeeper's Dinner- When a poorly aimed puck becomes lodged in the gate. Feed you opponent the dinner by knocking it through with another puck.
Flying Sailor- When a puck flies over the gate. The sender must take it back.
Cardinal's Revenge- When a too well-aimed puck bounces off the opponents elastic and comes back through the gate.
Neptune's Kiss-Players fire at the same time, causing the pucks to 'kiss' at the gate and rebound.
Pucket Techniques
There are multiple techniques players can use when playing Pucket:
The Garner- This is where you drag a puck back against the elastic and let go, first with one hand and then the other. This produces the highest firing rate but only Mr. Garner himself can combine it with good accuracy.
The Harpist- This is where one hand pulls back the elastic as the other places a puck in front of it. Be sure to let go of the puck before letting go of the elastic!

I bought 2 of these to have at my commercial business and the construction of these games are absolutely horrible! The perimeter wood wasn't fastened to the base of the game and the whole thing came apart. The pucks looked like they were cut by someone who just drank a full bottle of whiskey. A couple of the pucks were cut too thick and crooked and wouldn't fit through the hole in the middle of the board! The wood they show on the box and in the pictures is real wood. The wood used to build this game is particle board. Don't waste your money on this junk.
My husband loves games that have solid wooden pieces instead of plastic, so when I saw this I knew I had to add it to his collection. It's well made, and it's super fun for anyone of any age to play. There are no difficult rules to learn; just get all the pucks to the other side. It's fast paced and LOUD, because I guarantee there will be always be yelling and laughing involved. 😁 We're a competitive family, so this is a great addition to our game nights. Warning: your six year old might beat you.
This game is great. IT is made of high quality wood and pieces and it is super fun! My 5 and 8 yo daughters love playing this game and even us adults love it cause its fun and it is a high paced game. The Quality is Superior to anything I have seen. The only downfall I wish they could figure out and understand how hard it would be is if you could fold it some way to save storage space. But outside of that this game is well crafted and fun! I wish I thought of it, lol.... I get the name, but something that you have to try to get around the kids....

This game is very simple and fun. It's a nice set, doesn't seem cheap although I can't imagine it costs that much to make. I like it and I'm happy with the purchase although I did feel $40 was a tad steep.
We had picked up a similar game at the beach one year that had gone missing-- i couldn't remember the name and found this one thinking it was the same game. It is basically, but the board is more than twice the size of FastTrack the game we had before and the pucks are larger. I prefer the smaller game for both play reasons and storage, but its a beautiful board. Its just personal preference.
UPS delivered the game about an hour ago. We've already played about 15 games. Really fun. But you're both playing at the same time so if you let up, you'll lose. Lots of fun. Not as noisy as I thought it would be. Was a little worried about pucks flying everywhere. Only lost one on the floor. Seems to be well made.
This is a good game for all ages. Each round is completed fairly quickly so people can take turns if more than two people want to play. It is a big hit with my grandchildren and son-in-law.
I got this for my 13 year old son for Christmas. He loves playing it and so did the rest of us. My daughter who is 5 did well at playing too. You will need to remind smaller children to move their hands out of the pucks way while playing, but it’s a fast paced game that is addictive and fun.
