Product Description

●The 3/8" clay ammo is the ideal size for shooting in all kinds of slingshots, suitable for slingshot hunting or target shooting, a good tool for children to exercise.

●Slingshot Ammo Balls made from pottery clay, biodegradable and good for the environment, if you leave them outside in the rain they eventually dissolve.

●The ammo is a good balance between light and heavy.

●They shoot straight and hit hard, the slingshot ammo can be loaded at any slingshot.

●Slingshot ammo is made of ceramic clay which tends to frequently fracture on impact with hard surfaces making these balls great for close to medium ranges since there is a much smaller chance of a ricochet, although you should always wear eye protection while using them! Steel balls could bounce and hit nearby buildings, windows, people, or even yourself!

Great practice ammo.

Great practice ammo.
Description and additional material says both 9mm and 10mm--it's actually right between the two, with a fair amount of regularity. Very nice weight and quality. Love that they are environmentally safe, and yet still hit quite hard. Good fun, and great quality shot. I also love the earthy smell--would recommend this item, and will be buying more in the future, as long as they keep the price as reasonable as it is. Oh... didn't actually count the amount, will have to do so next time, unless one of you diligent folks feel like doing it before then. There are a lot. I highly recommend this product.

When I was looking for a pandemic outdoor bonding experience with my son...he never thought his Mom would choose a slingshot! These pellets are amazing for practice and break apart easily without damaging things but are still hardy enough to hit a metal target and get that awesome *PING* sound. They dissolve into the ground after a few days with a little rain (or after a few squirt gun fights) and come in a big resealable bag. I could not find these at the big name sports stores at all so I'll be repurchasing soon (it's so easy to have some fun and go through a few dozen at a time) and for the price you cant beat this!

They are pretty light, and I noticed that some fly way off target for some odd reason, but its rare. One cool thing though is that if you hit a very hard surface, they explode in a little cloud of dust. As I said, only good at probably less than 25 feet I’d say

These are great for scaring unwanted animals from my garden. I didn’t know biodegradable balls were even a thing. Will definitely reorder.

Size variation is pretty close, none are abnormally large or small compared to the others. In the picture the steel ball on the right is a 9.5mm and the others are 7/16" so you can see the clay shot is somewhere between the two. The bag had a dirt smell to it at first but after a day it was gone. Both kids were napping yesterday so I decided to count them for a quiet activity and I haven't tracked how many I've used so far closely but fairy certain I got more than advertised. If you can keep your speeds down to the lower to mid 200's in feet per second they're fairly accurate a bit past ten yards. At 306 fps one left the same dent in a plaster wall as a 7/16" steel did at around 204 fps from the same distance of 8 yards (also shattered a mason jar with one doing 260's thinking it wouldn't do anything) so they can pack a mean punch but stick to hunting with steel if you're concerned with avoiding lead. I got them for all the opportunities to shoot when there's no catch box around, they vaporize on cement and thick metal but turn into shrapnel on trees.

Updated July 25th: Second order arrived yesterday. What happened? They are nowhere near as perfectly round as my first order and the size variation is more pronounced. I still have a handful from my first order to compare and those ones roll fairly straight on my countertop. Tried rolling several of these and their path is as wobbly as a drunken sailor on a boat in a storm. Some are visibly lopsided. With the first order I could shoot accurately to almost 40 yards if velocity was below 250fps. I'm going to try these today so hopefully the shape isn't too detrimental to accuracy
