08May2019 Update. This is strictly for aesthetics, do not try to use it for anything metallurgy or impact congruence. Since it is simply threadedfor a one to two inch joining via threading, once hammering begins is where the problem begins. I wish i would have noticed this. (Old review) I am giving this project 3 stars because of 3 rules of thumb. One, this is a glorified mallet that should never be used on any nail. To it weighs somewhere in the vicinity of 12.5 - 13.0 lbs. It is a hammer worthy of roofing, or household chores.... but nowhere is it worth the insane price which one could get an actual "Thor"...Odin son hammer.

Handel is threaded into the hammer head and is not fully secured, also has extra thread. Top nut cannot screw flush and leaves a noticeable gap between it and the hammer's head. Did not include leather on handle as show in display picture.
