A bit over priced for what it is. Nothing really wows me with this dollhouse. The moving truck would have been great if it was plastic and useable. It’s just cardboard and mine was smooshed in the front. Was really a disappointment that MGA did not do a plastic one to be played with. The “exclusive family” was also a let down. This would have been a great opportunity for MGA to introduce more boys and have a Dad and lil brother. It only has a big sis, lil sis and pet.The quality is fine. It’s laminated wood just like other wooden type doll houses. There was no major issues or flaws with it.The lamp in living room turns on, the bathtub lights up and the toilet makes a flushing sound which are nice extra features. The pool, spa and sandbox are also great features. The color scheme of the dollhouse is an 80s retro look which I’m not crazy about. I wish they had gone with a more glitz and glammer type look. The exclusive dolls are just ok. Nothing overly fancy about them but they all do color change.

We put this together Christmas Eve night and it's real wood so you need power tools and experience building homes. It is huge, it took forever to assemble, the instructions were good and easy to follow, it's just so much work to really build rather than snap together like most doll houses. It was well worth it though. The entire thing is so detailed like every room is dreamy and real, I'm talking power outlets in each room, the detail is amazing. And the moving boxes labeled for each room with the appropriate items inside was so fun. There is legitimate newspaper wrapped around every item inside the boxes. The detail through and through is to be applauded. I'm just a kid inside so I adore lol surprise everything because it's so real and fun. I got this on sale when the new house was released which was painful because when she saw the winter disco house she wanted it instead but of course she was extatic to have this one anyways. It's worth the money either way. Barbie's seem to be a thing of the past so this house works for everything my kids are into such as lol surprise obviously but also callico critters, littlest pet shop, Shopkins, all these mini toys can play in this house and everything is their size. The house is large enough that all three of my girls can sit and play in it together. The elevator goes up and down but not easily. I won't let them out real water in the pool either because I don't want the wood messed up so we pretend. It would be cool to let them color change in it but I'm not risking that. The pool can be removed however and played with in the tub. Just don't take glittery dolls in there.

I have a daughter who absolutely loves lol dolls so this was a must. I bought it as a warehouse deal so paid just at $150. The box was heavily damaged but everything inside was perfect. It took me about 1.5 hours by myself to put it together. I really like the design of it and it reminds me of the 80s!

The house is much smaller than my daughter's previous kidcraft dollhouse and about twice as expensive! However she loves this one more! We love the way everything is packed in moving boxes, such cute details.

For everyone saying how useless the pool is, it says to cover the area before using with water in the instructions! The house is very heavy and not made of cardboard! Only the back of the house is pieces of cardboard, but that is how her other doll house was and it lasted.

Other than the house being a little overpriced for the size, it's great. My kid loves it and that's all I care about!

My daughter loves anything LOL. When I saw the house I knew she would have a fit if she woke up to it on Christmas morning. I read reviews and was a bit worried about spending so much money on it. I saw one in the amazon warehouse for $164, using reward points I ordered it and paid about $150 total. The box was a bit beat up and I wanted to make sure everything was there before Christmas eve so my husband and I put it together tonight. All of the pieces were there. The material was about what I was expecting. It's made like the storage cubbies that can be bought at target/walmart.

It took us less than 2 hours to put together and we were watching TV the whole time.

There was one small chip on the front of one panel, which I honestly expected at least one or two of those. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to cut the tape and open the moving van to get some of the boxes out. You will need the boxes labeled "outdoors" to put the house together. Also, the instructions were in the front of the van so we had to take everything out to get to them. Which, it makes sense, but since it's a Christmas gift I would have preferred the van not been opened and rearranged. I dont think my daughter will care about that. The instructions also dont say what way the panels should be facing, so we had to look at the picture on the box to make sure it was all right.

All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. I think $200 is a bit much, but I would have spent that because I know how much my girl will love it. If you have a kid who is crazy for LOL, get this! It doesnt seem to be selling out anywhere that I have seen, so if you can wait and try to find it on sale, I'd recommend that.

This is a great doll house. I now own two of them. The house was easy to install. However, a caveat I will leave you all with is, "question the instructions." If you reach a point, where the screw just can't go where you are being instructed to install it, then go back, unscrew what you just did, and reverse the process. I had two moments where the photo provided in the instructions was incorrect and I had the reverse the position of a board so that it would fit correctly. Also, use the photo on the box a lot, it is a big help. It took me about 4 hours to install, but that was with child interruptions, which is more realistic than the one hour they suggest.

My daughter loves this house. Her favorite is the salon where she hung up some extra outfits and put all the wigs/ accessories. She immediately moved all her L.OL.s in. Instructions were easy to follow. Everything is very sturdy- nothing falls off or apart (unlike A different house we have.). The elevator works great. My daughter loves that is has working lights and sounds. For those with younger children worrying about the weight- a wall anchor is included so the product will not tip if climbed on. Would like the bottom piece to be made of waterproof material. But my daughter is 8 and I explained it could get damaged by water. She has used the pool several times without any water damage to the house because she is very careful and dries off dolls immediately after removing from pool. Also the real estate sign is junk and will not stay together. Why is their a helicopter pad with no helicopter? Need to have some extra racks for the salon.

Don’t know what it was like putting together because my husband did it. Although I didn’t hear him grumble too much so it must not have been too bad. It’s pretty sturdy and I got it for a great deal compared to other prices.

5.0 out of 5 stars A little expensive but great for imaginary play.

My granddaughter loves this house. It is large. However, she plays with it every day. Uses both her LOL dolls and her other figures. It is well made. A good size for imaginary play and extending her play time. A lot more expensive than many but I believe it is value for money. She chose this present too. I had not seen it advertised and went on her recommendation.

For the cost the quality is not great. Some of the plastic pieces won’t stay together especially the balcony as it won’t even connect into place and stay.
