Awesome. This exceeds the brightness I expected. The thickness of the panel is just right. It isn’t flexible, so if you need it to fit around something, it won’t unless you melt it.
First photo is the GITD panel fresh out of the envelope it was delivered in. Then I charged it. I hit it originally with one of my UV flashlights, about 365nm (2nd photo). For a quick sweep for about 30 seconds. Later that evening after the room was darkened I hit it in the third photo with 365nm for 2 minutes and again later with 395nm, at medium and full power, which yielded the same brightness. which wore off quickly. It just took longer to charge at the lower nm range. Then I hit it in the 4th photo for 1 minute with a 2W (set to brightest) tactical flashlight which gave it a far brighter glow that lasted a lot longer.
I plan to buy a few more of these for my various molle bags and slings.
When rating this, it asks to rate about warmth?! These things aren’t designed for warmth the chemical reaction that creates light is very low energy. You want to stay warm in an emergency? Carry a lot of hand warmers. You want to read a map, change a tire, search your trunk for tools, this may help. I’d still recommend a small UV light to charge it. As I have been typing this the glow has dropped greatly. I don’t see it lasting 8 hours where it will be usable.

Embrite Technology:
The process used to provide the desired glow feature is based on a charge/discharge cycle. You must first charge the Embrite material with light, which is then stored and slowly discharged. In order to achieve the best possible results from your patch, please review the following tips regarding light exposure and charging times.
The proprietary Embrite morale patch is manufactured using a "trade secret" process and the brightest glowing material available anywhere on the planet to ensure we provide the brightest glow effect possible. The patch itself charges most effectively when exposed to the UV portion of the light spectrum. Sunlight does an excellent job as a charging source, as well as UV lights and CFL bulbs but the material will also absorb an appreciable charge when exposed to indoor room light. Increased exposure time to a light source will increase the initial brightness of the glow and extend the time the material remains glowing
A patch that is charged in ordinary sunlight or room light for an extended period will have a noticeable glow when the lights are turned off, and will diminish gradually over the course of several hours. Although the glow intensity will fade considerably over a long duration of time, it is not uncommon to still see a recognizable glow after 8-12 hours, especially with dark-adapted vision. This charging and discharging cycle can be performed an infinite number of times. It is important to note however, that if you view the glow material in normal room light IT WILL NOT GLOW! It must be dark in order to see the glow effect.
