Bought two, clipped one to each of our dog's leashes, and now we have a perfect solution for the loose dogs in the neighborhood.Doesn't (according to several articles I read online) do any permanent damage, but will with a high degree of certainty, break up a dog fight and send the attacking dog scurrying away.Fortunately haven't had to use it yet, but makes taking the dog for a walk a little less stressful. Because your dog is important to you.

I can't say enough about this product. It does exactly what they say. Super easy to flip the top, aim and hit your target even laying on the ground. My dog and I were attacked by a pit bull. The pitbull knocked me down and attacked my terrier. Pulled the can from my pocket and sprayed the pit exactly where I aimed. That made her let go of my dog. When she tried to attack us again. It was easy to spray her again exactly where I aimed even laying on the ground. It shoots a straight stream so anything around us was not affected just my target.

I've used a lot of types of OC on many people as well as dogs. This OC is consistently the best performer. I've used it in riots as well and it really reaches far and hits that instigator you're trying to reach. The gel fights wind well, but it's also still somewhat aerosolized, making it more effective than most other gels. Think of it like a hybrid between a good stream delivery and a pinpoint gel delivery. It's kind of in between, if you will.

Ordered 2 pack for less than 20.00. price fluctuated 5.00 in 3 weeks. Arrived quickly, product allowed to roll around loose on top of thin layer of bubble wrap with a set of loose leaf instructions. Both cans were quite new with expiration dates of four years.

Within minutes I noted an obvious need to add a small lip under nozzle so one didn't simply spray an index finger - this would also provide a means for additional leverage to deploy gel.

Also, I'd advise one to use a Sharpie or another permanent means to label bottom of can with expiration date, as the ink used will easily rub off label after it's exposed to moisture. The edges of label will also remain annoyingly sticky as well.

The clip appears reasonably strong and flexible, it's shape is about what you'd expect from a design intended to accommodate as many needs as possible without being overly complex or expensive.

Overall, this is a 15.00 product that looks similar if not identical to many others available - though in my opinion, very minor improvements could and should be made.

Update: very disappointed with the small amount of product for this size container. Be well aware there is only around 5 or 6 seconds of continuous spray. It is also much more difficult then you may think to aim the pinpoint spray without wasting much of it. If you encounter multiple attackers in a dimly lit environment I am not confident whatsoever there will be enough product to engage. I suggest you find a brand that offers 2.0 or more ounces. I will also be purchasing a cone pattern spray despite the risk of blowback.
