  • This cable can be used to split an 3.5mm unbalanced stereo signal into two 1/4" TS(left/right) unbalanced mono signals, or to combine two 1/4" mono signals(left/right) into a single 3.5mm stereo signal. It splits closer to the 1/4 TS ends, the distance to the split point is about 7.5 inches.
  • Heavy Duty Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion, provide durability and improve the signal transmission, ensures minimal signal loss.
  • Copper braided shielding provides maximum cancellation of hum and noise, Fully molded and shielded to prevent EMI/RFI interference.

These sound great, and by that I mean there is no line noise or hiss. I used these to straight from my MacBook into my KRK studio monitors, and they work great for a quick close set up. My only complaint is that they are joined so that you only get about a 2 foot spread between the left and right, so you can't have the speakers further apart from each other, but that's not a big deal.
Also the ends are color marked black and red, but not marked as left and right.
But they definitely do the job.

I'm used to cables that you can split apart up the middle and run one plug to each speaker, far apart, but this cable has a small plastic block at the Y-split to prevent you from separating the two ends. My own fault for not looking closely enough when ordering.
