    I already had a canary all in one... And decided to get the flex. It's really a dope product. I don't regret it at all. Easy to setup and does exactly what it says it does. People with these bad review have to either be user error or just received a deceptive camera but you know things happen. I'm very satisfied with mine and I will continue to expand my security system with canary.

    Not suitable for outside use in my opinion. Works great inside. Before I leave home it has excellent internet connection. After I leave home it shows device ready but as soon as try accessing it goes to device offline and never works. I must access it just long enough for it to do something because when I get back home the battery is dead, it is as though it runs until battery goes dead. I leave home for a week. If I don’t try accessing it then the battery is still fully charged when I get back home. When it is outside it is only about 15 feet from my router. I hung it on the soffit within arms reach of my window.

    It detects tree branches and shadows and tapes so much unnecessary motion. Changed the settings to notify for people only to keep my phone from going off every five minutes, but if the wind blows it thinks the shadow of the tree is a person. The night vision is terrible. You can’t see anything. The other annoying thing is you can only delete one video at a time and only through the app. You Would think with a paid subscription you would have more options.
    It is a very sturdy camera with a great viewing in the day time.

    DO NOT use this for home security. Not reliable enough. Regular “Unable to connect at this time” messages when I want to see live stream. WiFi strong at both ends and still that infuriating spinning circle. Today I received Wink notification that an apartment door had opened. No Canary notification. I checked Canary live steam and the “Unable...” pop up appeared. I tried on another known functioning setup and same notification. Worked yesterday and may work again tomorrow but not when I need it most. Bye!
