    I bought these hoping they would work for my 9 year old who is learning to rollerblade. The wrist guards are great, but the elbow and knee guard bands are made of scratchy material and plastic parts that sit uncomfortably and dig into her skin. She stops to have a break -- not from the rollerblading but from the protective equipment... which is not the point!

    Pretty good set but the wrist-guard rivets broke free on first fall. The rest of the kit works well, but buyer beware. Other designs have a strap through design which is a better design for the wrist guards. too much pressure is exerted in falls which cause the rivet to pop free of the fabric.
