The cards are about the size of a credit card, the cleat is 4" horn tip to horn tip, and the 3' lengths of cordage are 4 mil diameter. The whole kit fits in the palm of your hand, so you can take it anywhere!

Unlike a paper knot book or most phones, NautiCards are totally waterproof -- ideal for wet conditions encountered on boats.
Thoughtful design

Not worth the price
Extremely small! Not at all what I expected when purchasing. Cleat is so small and you have to hold it in your hand which makes practicing the knots extremely difficult! Nylon ropes are more likely shoe laces! The only redeeming quality is the reference cards! Would never have spent $16 for this if I knew this is what I was getting! More like $5 to $10 at most!
