I little tight to work the PSU cabling. No HDD status LED on the front or top of case is annoying.
4 out of 5 stars
I little tight to work the PSU cabling. No HDD status LED on the front or top of case is annoying.
I like it a lot. I take one start out because the space underneath the PSU and HDD is too tight to manage the cabling comfortably, even though my PSU is fully modular. Once the PSU is inside, in order to manage the power cables it is necesary to remove the HDD cage, and I'm only using the Moterboard, CPU, PCIex and 2 SATA power cables. I could have only one Sata power cable since it has 3 male conectors, but the distance betweeen the HDD cage and the ODD bay is too long and the spacing between the connectors in the cable didn't allow to reach th ODD once the closest to the PSU was connected to the HDD in "the Basement. It would have benn nice to be able to remove the whole cover of the "basement" (it blocks the HDD and the PSU from view trhu the tempered glass side, to work the cabling down there and the place it again. But, all in all, once this step is finished I'm fairly happy with the results. And this is the first PC I build from "scratch" (which means buying each component and puting the whole thing togeteher). I would recommend this product to others, if they don't mind not having an HDD status LED in the front panel or at list on top of the case along the power on, USB & audio in/out ports and the reset button. After all it's not like there isnt a lot of space, even on the sides of the front panel. Other wise this case suits all my requirements.

Picked this up on a bargain at the time seeking a case that is not too intrusive in size. I do like a glass side just to be able to peer inside to ensure fans are running properly and quick health check of the system without removing the side of the case. This is a decent sized case allowing room for cabling and hardware. It's a little taller and narrower than some so it takes up less desktop space than previous case. Fans are quiet and with a quiet fully modular power supply there is no known noise coming from the case. It has a nice profile. It does have a bay for an internal CD/DVD drive. I haven't needed more than one in years now due to flash and other portable storage options but still nice to have for legacy usage. Hardware installs easily and the case is laid out nice for cabling.

This case works great for what it is for: being a PC case. Why is it so hard to find a case with front slots nowadays? Who knows, but it works great.

Not a perfect 5 stars because it can really be a tight fit. Had to take out the 2-drive bay in order to plug everything into the power supply, and then re-insert it in order to actually use it. There really isn't a lot of room in that area.

Any time I need to open the case, it's super easy to access. The glass side panel unscrews really easy, the front panel pops off in seconds. I won't really attest to this case with it's glass visibility though, I didn't buy it for the glass, it's just a workhorse PC for my day job. The case sits on the left side of my desk, with the left side glass facing the wall. I rarely look into it.

Corsair makes great stuff though, and if you want a midsize case that's durable for a good price this is it.

This is my first pc case and I’m quite impressed. The rubber covers around the cable ports allow secure cable management, there are built in motherboard standoffs for atx boards, and there are various labels for the placement of different sized motherboards. The case only has one fan located in the rear, but to make up for it, there are removable magnetic dust filters on both the top and bottom of the case to catch dust in the various airflow infil/exfil points. My one complaint is that the hard drive bay, which is by no means poor in quality, is a little too large to accommodate a full sized PSU with the cables attached. Luckly the bay can in fact he slid slightly to the left to give the cables more breathing room, but it’s not much. The instruction manual is also just pictures so I had to look up how to install an SSD because the illustration was extremely vague. I recommend this case for people who don’t care too much about being flashy.

Great case. Looks and feels like good quality. The front panel is plastic, but it's not a noticeable change in material. The tempered glass is very sturdy and pretty heavy, so some plastic was probably necessary. All racks are great, removable storage bays, PSU covering looks good, wiring can be hidden well. My only complaint is you have to unscrew all 4 screws to remove the glass. With the weight of it, that can feel pretty awkward, especially if it's still upright. If you like to switch out parts, hard drives, GPUs often it might be a hassle. Overall great case for the $60-70 range

I use a DVD drive, and wanted to run the cables to the top behind the motherboard tray. The SATA cable connectors don't fit through that space, so I had to route them through the top grommet next to the mobo, and they're more visible than I'd like.

Other than that, the case is fantastic. Great airflow with a decent fan setup, plenty of nifty storage spaces for drives and cable management. I didn't find any sharp edges. I also like that the glass panel screws on, rather than magnets or slides or the like. It's secure.

A bonus I didn't know was included is that the expansion slots are pre-punched, and have vented slot covers installed. A lot of cases in this price range have perforated pieces you have to twist and bend out, and I find this case easier to work with for not having to deal with that.

Good bang for the buck here.

I got the tempered glass version of this case, and I have loved it so far. The case is well built, and the black tint on the glass looks great. It has just enough space to fit every full sized component you will need. I will note that there is not a whole lot of room behind the case for cable management, but I managed to fit all my cables back there. Just keep that in mind if you are going to need a large amount of cable space in the back. Overall, fabulous case with a nice finish!

This won't apply to most users, but I'm using a legacy semi-modular PSU. There isn't much space to store extra power cables and I have no space for a physical HDD. Not an issue as the SDD and NMVe are clear, so it's good storage space, but make sure you plan accordingly.

For lighting purposes, I moved the rear exhaust fan outside the case as the window has very little margin (a good thing usually). I still had trouble hiding my lgb strip and have 3d printed a guard to hide it so only the components appear lit.

Coming from a 9 year old case this is a massive improvement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Corsair 110R - Excellent Mid-Tower Case For The Price
Reviewed in Canada on May 13, 2021
For the price, the Corsair 110R is an excellent little "Mid-Tower" case. Having done my research, this case meets all my requirements:

    PROS
+ Compact; I was pleasantly surprised to see the case even smaller than I expected. A standard ATX motherboard fits very snuggly. If possible, try to install all your case fans (especially the front ones) before you install your motherboard.
+ Light; this case is a joy to handle. I have downsized from a Corsair Carbide 500R, which I have been using for the last 10 years, and though it's still a great case, it's relatively heavy with all the extra metal I don't need any more.
+ Has a single front "optical" drive bay; I specifically want at least one ODD for my Aft Pro-88 card reader.
+ Has a couple of 3.5" HDD cages for my storage drive(s), as I still use some "spinning rust".
+ Fan size and location flexibility; though the 110R isn't an "airflow" king, there is plenty of room to install fans (front and top). Note that the front and top of the case has long slots rather than round holes to permit the user to install their fans where ever they want, USING SCREWS.
+ Noise to airflow compromise; since the front of the case ingest air through the side intakes (on the front panel), the fan noise (when they spin up for cooling) doesn't quite reach my ears as dramatically as it would have in my old 500R. If you want above average airflow, look elsewhere.
+ Decent cable management (for the money); For those complaining about not having enough room for the PSU cables, one can either remove or move the HDD cage. I moved the HDD cage to it's third position (the forward-most) and there is plenty of room for the excess cables from my Corsair TX650M. The HDD cage in the forward-most position will cause some interference when trying to remove a 3.5" HDD, but it's doable.

    CONS
    - Tight front panel; this could be due to manufacturing tolerance, but trying to install the front panel over my Aft Pro-88 card reader was not a smooth fit. After some patient alignment and a few persuasion taps along each side of front panel, I was able to reinstall the panel back on the case, with the card reader in place.
    - The non-glass side panel is a bit flimsy; I had to be relatively neat about my cable management, trying to keep the cables relatively flat along the mobo back panel to keep the bottom of the panel from bowing out.

    Case build for reference:
    > Case: Corsair 110R.
    > PSU: Corsair TX650M.
    > ODD: Aft Pro 88.
    > FANS: (2) Noctua NF-A15 PWM chromax.black (front), (1) Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black (top) and > CPU Heatsink: Noctua NH-C14S with (2) Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black (in push-pull).
    > GPU: AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100.
