Tons of cocktail/drink recipes based on books you know and love..by Beckersly (5 out of 5 stars)

This book is hilarious! I gave it as a birthday gift but I kind of want one for myself. Tons of cocktail/drink recipes based on books you know and love...or hate! LOL.
Each one has a brief review (? not really but kind of) of the book before listing the ingredients and directions for the drink.
Very fun gift for anyone that loves books!
Perfect gift for an English teacher

Bought as a gift for my coworker who is an English teacher. If you know anything about English teachers, then you know they love literature and they love to drink.
Adorable and Punny, but With a Weird Classification System
by Spilt Over (5 out of 5 stars)

Love the recipes, and the variety: simple, complex, sweet, tart, bitter etc. The literary puns were spot-on, and I liked the idea that the drink could match both the themes at work in the story, and sometimes even the literary criticism surrounding the novel. The suggested games at the end were very funny, and the illustrations also added to the whole presentation.
My only complaint was the way the cocktails were arranged into male/female categories.
Really??
Couldn't they be group by flavor, main alcoholic ingredient, literary genre, date of publication?
Not only was having two categories unhelpful in terms of finding drinks, it's a little insulting to divide drinks by sex.
All in all it was a lovely book, and I can overlook the classification for the most part.

I bought this for my mom's birthday (and a little bit for me), since we both share a love for cocktails and books. She devoured the book in about a day. We haven't tried any cocktails just yet but she's bookmarked the ones she's interested in. Definitely gave her a good laugh, too.
Super punny recipe book.

A super punny cocktail recipe book. Each recipe is dedicated to a great work with a small description of the book or author and a recipe for a cocktail. The recipes range from standard to quite imaginative using even aquafaba. I bought this for the bar in our Living Room which is themed for our favorite books and movies. This accompanied by Are You There God? It's Me, Margarita and Gone With the Gin. Overall, it's a really great collection and addition to our themed room!

Very clever, funny book. The perfect gift for an english major or book lover! Haven't actually tried the drink recipes in it, but the descriptions and titles are clever enough it's enjoyable to flip through so whether or not you use it, it's a cute coffee table book!
Lots of information but heavy on the humor. We all loved it.

Our son, who owns some bars in Ann Arbor, MI. received this for a gift over the holidays.
He started reading it immediately,, out loud..as others were opening gifts and got a lot of
laughs. A very fun book.
