Just mix the 55 transparent cards in this set together with your copy of Gloom to add morbid new Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths, and a new family - the malodorous Malone mob - including The Broken Arms Hotel as a Residence card to use with the Unhappy Homes expansion. Also inside are five new Character cards called Unwelcome Guests, which can move from family to family during the game; and Transformations. The new Malone family allows an additional player to join a game. The second edition includes new packaging (with side-by-side half-decks), rules fixes, timing icons, reminder cards, and more; plus it's fully compatible with the first edition game and supplemements.
