Why did I wait so long?!by Shadow Breaker (5 out of 5 stars)

I have been looking at these cards for several years, picking them up, putting them down and putting off buying. Now I am almost sad I waited so long. These cards come in a very sturdy box that is lined to protect your cards, While most cards come with a staple fold book, this one actually has a spine to it and the paper quality is better. The actual card stock will hold up to the avid user, the surface of the cards have a bit of texture to them, so the cards are more easily held instead of slipping from your grasp or being to shiny to read in bright light. Pictures are fun and light hearted.
Every card has rich detail for you to be able to interpret. Pips have actual pictures rather than just a bone and a number next to them. The trumps are inspired and sweet. But where the cards shine the most is the major arcana. This is where the artist spent the most time some are humorous others are just really cool. Planning on getting at least one more set. These are so very worth it.

As a Zombie fan, and a Fido being one of my favorite zombie movies, this deck hits the sweet spot. I absolutely love the imagery.
Couldn't help but notice that 8 cards are different:
7 of those 8 have art the exceeds their frame/border and the othet of the 8 cards, the 6 of Swords, is the ONLY card, besides The High Priestess, with People of Color featured.
Odd, but typical of the era I guess. It just really stood out. It's hard to find any tarot deck with PoC to be honest, but they are worth looking for.
If you're seeking one, google The Sinking Wasteland Tarot and The Black Power Tarot... I'm sure more exist by now...
Anyway.
Not upset about the 8 stranger cards, just notice things like that.
I'm thrilled to have a friggin' zombie deck!
Missing & Duplicated Cards - DO NOT BUY

Get this product only and ONLY if you want a ton of repeating cards and an incomplete deck. Was so excited to get this zombie-vintage looking cards only to find that half the major arcana is missing (and the other half is duplicate), half the wand suite is missing and half of my cups suite is duplicated. Extremely disappointed as the art work is very cool and the card quality is great but now the deck is completely unusable.
Lots of Sinister Retro Fun!

I collect tarot cards and kept seeing these online. Although I'm not a zombie or even horror fan was oddly drawn to them. I'm not a "dark person" for lack of a better term, but we all have a dark side.
I already have The Housewive's Tarot by the same company and LOVE it's kitschy retro fun and surprisingly accurate readings. This deck has a similar retro vibe, only much more maccabe. It comes in a nice sturdy box, designed for a zombie uprising with bullets for "Prediction/Protection". It was only $10, free Prime Shipping.. making this one of the cheapest decks I own. Even though it is a less expensive deck, it does not show in quality. I like the size of the cards, they are not too big, heavy or flimsy. Overall, I think it's a good deck to have, if you are a tarot deck reader/collector, or just a fan of the Undead. The definitions are easily understandable and based on the traditional RWS deck. The only difference between it are Pentacles are called Hazards. I actually ordered a second deck for my sister, because it is totally her style. It's an oddly fun deck.
a cool deck! ♡

i love these cards! i've been doing tarot only for about two years now, so i'm not an expert by all means. this is actually the second deck i've bought, after the rider-waite tarot.
i love the vintage zombie concept and the art is sooo cool. each picture illustrates the intended meaning of the cards very well. it also comes with a nice booklet with short and convenient descriptions for each card. they are also a good size and great quality. they are cheaper on amazon than in stores, which is always nice.
the box itself is also a nice design. it's a bit bulky, so don't expect to be able to just slide it into a drawer like a regular flat deck.
i've included pictures of a few of my favorite cards. overall, this is a very nicely done deck and i would recommend it to anyone wanting to add something a little more edgy to their collection. (:
This Zombie Fanatic Approves

I'm very much obsessed with anything Zombie themed, so this deck wasn't a hard sell for me. I was able to connect with this deck immediately, and even noticed a few nods to some of my favorite zombie films! That being said, I don't think a zombie obsession is required in order to use this deck effectively (although it certainly helps!). The images are very reminiscent of Rider-Waite tradition, but with refreshing, and often humorous, zombie twists. There also isn't a lot of gore and gross imagery in this deck, which is what a lot of people want to think when they hear "zombies".
The deck comes housed in a sturdy box, designed to look like an ammo box. The presentation of this deck is really nice, and it's great to have a safe place to store the cards.
The guidebook is written in keeping with the theme of the deck, and there are even a few spreads included to get you started. The card descriptions are very " to the point". There are no interpretations included for reversals, so if you read with reversals, you'll have to draw your own conclusions. I usually read reversals, but I don't with this deck. I feel that the images on the cards usually deliver the messages shockingly clear without them.
My only gripe about this deck is the cardstock that it's printed on. The cards are very thick and stiff, and a little longer than average sized tarot cards, making it a little difficult for my average sized female hands to shuffle. I prefer to riffle shuffle, and it's damn near impossible for me to do with this deck. Other than that, this deck is absolutely perfect for me, and has quickly become a favorite. My readings with this deck have been very accurate, and sometimes, surprisingly literal. I'm very pleased with it, and would recommend it to anyone, zombie obsessed or not.
Unique, fun, and accurate

I love this deck!!! It is a very fun, interesting twist on tarot. It comes in a sturdy, bigger box with a small little guide book you could take with you anywhere easily. Although the guide book is fun and comical, it doesn't break down the meanings well, and is pretty small and vague. But the cards have the same vibe and interpretive meanings. because of this, I would recommend this to someone who has studied or practiced tarot for a bit. Not really for a beginner unless you are just getting it for playing around, parties or for fun.
The images are detailed, vintage, interesting and slighty funny. Each card is truly unique and interesting. Any zombie fan needs this deck wether it's just for fun, or doing real readings. I have actually gotten very accurate, great readings from this deck so far.
The cards are a bit more thick and durable than most, in my opinion. They have no glossy finish to them, more of a matte finish that adds to the vintage look. I have smaller hands and although the thickness makes the deck seen a bit more large, I still find it very easy to shuffle, etc. I actually really love the feel of these cards once I got past getting used to the size of how they felt and fit into my hands.
I real just love this deck and find myself constantly pulling it out to just shuffle the cards and study the funny and interesting pictures meanings.
Again, I would highly recommend this deck to someone who has at least the basic knowledge on tarot, someone wanting a fun new way to Oracle or a collector. It is great though!
ROLFing!!!

Giggle. Snort. Roll on the floor laughing. Guaranteed you will do one or all of these if you get this deck! What a complete package! I gotta say, I just got these cards today, and I can't stop looking at them. I have been thru this deck three times, the third time literally with a magnifying glass...the authors have made the words "attention to detail" their mission statement. Campy, hilarious, sick in a good way, and slightly disturbing- I haven't tried reading with them yet, I have been having too much fun looking at the cards, reading the not so little and not so white book included in the sturdy cardboard box, reading the BOX, reading the fine print on the cards...Wow, I can't put these guys down! My favorite card is the...no, wait, it's the..., no I can't decide! I love em all. The very first card you see when you open the box is the Fool...boy, is that appropriate! All I can say is if you love campy humour, zombies, and BOB's and survivalist stuff, oh, and Tarot, then get these cards! They come in a 3x4x6 very sturdy cardboard box with a lift off top, great for storage-the box has litho type designs all over it, when lifting the top off, it looks as if you are lifting the lid on a box of hollow point ammo. First up is the LWB, not so little, and not white! It's called The Mystical Prediction Oracle Instruction Booklet, complete with the mystical Zombie Swami head. The book is written in a hilarious style, double entendres abound, and oh, actual layouts and card meanings included. Be sure to read to the very last page, where you will find old fashioned ads for self defence lessons and Zom-B-Gone. The cards are quite thick and stiff with a cardboard feel, measuring 2.75" x 4.75". The whole stack of 78 cards is 1&5/8ths thick, a handful to shuffle if you have small hands. The artwork is done in a campy, 50's bomb shelter vs Mad Men vs B grade horror flicks style . All the standard cards are there, from the Fool to the World, and Minor Arcana are the (un)usual Cups (braaaaiiiinnnsss), Wands (leg bones disconnected to the...), Swords (and axes, Uzis, shotguns, meat cleavers...) and (bio)Hazards (everyone needs their very own Pet Zombie, huh?) I must say, if I have to be really picky, the one thing that would have been the absolute icing on the birthday cake (see the 4 of Wands)would have been a scraggly, black, Zombie kittie on the Queen of Wands card. sigh.
and MY NEW FAVORITE!!

This isn't a book, so I'm not sure why I'm being asked to do a book review. This is a tarot deck, and MY NEW FAVORITE!!!! It couldn't be any more fun! Even though it has that really cool, kitschy, 1950s appearance, don't let that fool you. The readings I've been getting with this deck are dead-on, with a big dose of tongue in cheek humor.
It's by the same guys who did the Housewives Tarot, and both are really very well done, box, booklet, cards and all!
If you love tarot, or even if you just a fan of anything horror, then TREAT yourself to this deck! You will not be disappointed!
Love the zombie theme of the cards

These cards are so fun but incredibly accurate in messages it gives when your energy is tied to the cards. The cards are so strong, the shuffle is so on point; I absolutely love these cards. Sometimes I shuffle for fun because of the feel of the card shuffle in your hands. The book is small but it is descriptive in message which is what I was searching for. I love the box it came in, very easy to take out when using. The zombie theme of the messages is so fun but you can tell what it's saying to you as you read.
