Great general reviews of Berlin, Amsterdam and environs, and other interesting countries including Turkey. His content is aimed at first time visitors, so you're not going to be told about the Technical and Transport Museum, the Airlift Memorial, The Wenkebach Hospital, the Philharmonie, the Musical Instrument Museum, the Wansee, for example, in Berlin, or the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. But that's fine. These half hour segments are every bit as good as the prior 90+ shows of the major cities of Europe. While everyone is entitled to their opinions, including the first reviewer, I disagree with the argument that these are off the beaten path places. If you want to see Steves in the other major large European cities, view the earlier videos. They haven't changed enough to warrant new videos as the principal content will not have changed.

I love love love this DVD; it takes me to different parts of Europe which gives me more information than actually being there. It is a relaxing video that helps educate, see wonderful views, and just captivating.

Rick Steves does a great job researching and taking us to places we've not been. Even those destinations I've visited are seen through different eyes in his DVD's.

Rick Steves takes one beyond the expected travel experiences. The videos are thought provoking and introduce the viewer to things that are probably unfamiliar. Lesser known travel destinations like Israel, Turkey, and Palestine make one think and perhaps better understand the people.
