These used to be a great hose before they swiched to aluminum ends. The aluminium ends will corrode and bond to brass hose bibs. You will have to replace your hose bibs once these hoses stick to them. Do not buy them. The photo still shows brass but they changed a year or so ago. I have 10 of these hoses. All the newer ones are atuck and garbage now. All older brass ones are still good.

Male end looks like brass, but isn't and will corrode

I bought three of these because I thought they would last on our ranch. The hose rubber/plastic material is great; durable and kink-resistant. Female end has held-up well; no complaints there. The male ends look like brass. Turns out they are brass-colored or brass-coated low-grade aluminum or perhaps pot-metal. They have corroded to the point that they leak and will have to be replaced. Hoses were used several times per day for less than two years.

Not brass connections like pictures state. Cheap aluminum that are colored to look like brass. The aluminum will corrode when hooked up to a brass faucet. Sent it back

Poor workmanship

Let me first state that this is by no means a heavy duty/commercial hose, regardless of how it is advertised. The black (protective) sheaf at the top of the hose cracked on day one, and for some inexplicable reason, this hose almost seems as if it were designed to kink. As soon as i unwound it, the hose kinked along its entire length,even after I laid it completely out and attempted to spin out the kinks.

Great hose, mediocre hardware (fake brass?)

We live in Florida where hoses degrade quickly from the sun and heat. So far (about 6 months) this has held up perfectly. The heavy rubber is not light for carrying, but is ideal for durability. The hardware is mediocre; I do not think the hose connections are brass despite the appearance; my brass nozzle corroded badly and stuck to the hose. Maybe that was the fault of the nozzle. I would suggest NOT leaving the nozzle attached. In summary, a great hose, mediocre hardware.

Not Commercial Grade

This is not a good, thick, commercial grade hose. Sure, it has the look but it ain't all that. I'd spend a little more and get a hose with a little more stature. Arrived kinked.

Industrial Duty it is not. It kinks and has soft walls like all cheap hoses and in the end you get what you pay for. I was fooled by the Industrial Duty picture and its also not Commercial. Spend more for a longer lasting hose.

I have learned over the years to always buy industrial grade despite the extra cost. While this particular product is a little short of some true industrial grade hoses that I have used, the cost savings more than makes up for it. It never kinks while sitting there laid out on concrete and grass. Once in use, it may kink from twisting, but not from bends. I never roll it up like I'm supposed to and even in this unbearable summer heat in Southern California, it works great. A great product at a great price. Nothing else a consumer can ask for.

Kinks from day 1. Really thin rubber. Cheap. Contains lead and cancer causing chemicals so you're advised to wash your hands after touching it. What about the soil these chemicals and lead leach into?

Joke of a commercial hose

This hose leaked at the female connection. I changed washers and it still leaked. I replaced the end with one from Lowe's and it stopped leaking. Very disappointed and will not buy again. I know it has a lifetime warranty but needed to use the hose for a project immediately and didn't have time to mess with it. Very disappointed. Avoid this one.
