The Gator Grip Universal Socket is a universal socket that instantly adjusts to grip hex nuts, screw eyes, hooks, lag screws, and bolt heads. It features a wide range of adjustability that will fit standard 1/4-inch to 3/4-inch and metric 7mm to 19mm nuts and bolt heads. The tool's socket contains 54 hardened steel spring pins for long-lasting durability. When placed onto a fastener, the center pins retract and the outer pins surround the fastener. As the fastener is turned, the torque is transmitted through the outer pins to the walls of the socket, making this socket an ideal choice for heavy-duty personal or professional use. The tool features a 3/8-inch drive, and comes with a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty.

Was better at stripping and eating the screws and nuts than anything. Not enough grip to fully tighten bolts. Sent back.

Not the Original Gator Grip and Not Made in USA.

For years I've used my original Gator Grip and everyone who borrowed mine loved it. Even the person who didn't return it. So, I needed a replacement. The description is faulty. It says on the packaging that it is made in China. Additionally, the handle is shorter than the original. The pins - or 'grip' are not nearly the same quality or quantity. It kept getting stuck on the nut I was tightening and the socket would slip off the handle and I'd have to wiggle it to get it to come loose. The original was so amazing - always worked cleanly. This is not the same product at all. If you only need it once in a while, you might be able to tolerate it, but it really is a disappointment to me.

I'm sure it's a fine tool, but shouldn't advertise that it's a brand name when it's not. No Gator Grip branding what so ever. Just a plain ratchet and $2 more expensive than the real thing at Walmart. Also, doesn't come in original packaging, just a clear plastic bag in a cardboard box

I am amazed at how well this works on just about anything you need to loosen that isn't perfectly round. Perfect for that weekend handyperson who doesn't want to buy a whole lot of tools. Just cover whatever it is you want to remove with the Gator Grip and twist and chances are really high it will come off (or go on, if that's what you want)!

Works great for it's intended purpose but it's NOT a "deep" socket.

Works great for quick removal or tightening of several nuts of different sizes - but ONLY for nuts where the bolt doesn't extend much beyond the nut.

Sometimes the nuts or bolts get completely stuck in this. Also I usually have to hold the universal head to get a good turn in. Really difficult to tell when using if the bolt's tightened, getting stripped, or still loose.

A must-have in anyone's tool kit. I got this as a gift for my husband and he LOVES it - great in time sensitive projects where you don't want to run to the store every 10 minutes for a new tool.

The item I received is an abysmal-quality product in counterfeit packaging. It's not made in the USA, nothing like the quality pictured in the photos, and the socket itself has no identifiable branding whatsoever, only size ranges. The packaging has some Gator Grip branding (guess they're learning to not send things in Ziplock bags at least), but even that attempt at copying the brand was rather lacking in quality and nothing like what is pictured in the product photos.

I wanted the original USA-made version and the seller advertised his garbage as the original. He even used images of the USA-made product. This trash broke after one use!!! I always look to see where an item is being shipped from when I make a purchase. I couldn't find it anywhere on Amazon, so I took a gamble at the cheap price. Do yourself a favor.. leave Amazon and go right to Endeavor Tool's website!!
