A great gag gift, or simply something to make you smile if you are an animal loverby Chandler (5 out of 5 stars)

While I don't have a collection of cats, I do rescue chickens and re-home them and have a small flock myself. Based upon that, I call myself the crazy chicken lady. Even though they are not inside and I don't exactly feed stray chickens.
Still, I feed every stray cat I see ANYWHERE. I actually feed any stray animal I see anywhere. I was once starving and about to pull over and eat lunch in between business calls and saw a deer in a neighborhood and threw her my entire lunch.
I could feasibly grown into a crazy cat lady, therefore, under certain circumstances I suppose.
But, in all honesty, I collect all of the bizarre action figures like this because they just crack me up. I have an art studio and they sit on the shelf. To have a lunch lady action figure, an Albino Bowler action figure, the action figures of three artists (that's where it all began for me), Horror B Movie Scared Actors Action Figures....yeah, I go there.
The box is way funnier than the figure herself...actually on all of them they are so I can't take any out of the boxes. The descriptions and extra parts and things...it's just too clever.
I am the chick who stops traffic to save an injured bird on the highway...give me about 50 more years and I see no reason not to wear my pajamas all day and feed stray cats for fun. Til then, I'll just let my cat lady do the work for me.
The Cat Lady was a Hit

I'm not sure that this item is meant to be a toy, although it appeared perfectly safe if it did happen to end up in the toy box. I purchased this for my cat obsessed daughter and she thought it was hysterical. In addition to her herd of cats, The Cat Lady comes complete with bandaged fingers and little cat claw injuries on her hand.
Also entertaining was the quiz on the back of the box to determine if you are a Crazy Cat Person. It was fairly enlightening with questions like: "Do you bring new boyfriends home so the cats can meet them?" and "Do you later break up with them because the cats weren't impressed?" or "Have you ever warned a guest not to sit on a specific piece of furniture because it belongs to the cats?"
Bottom line: it's great for laughs.
Loads of fun, but not enough cats.

As a crazy cat lady myself, I thoroughly enjoy playing with my mini-me, Crazy Cat Lady Action Figure. "Action" is a little misleading, though, since all my "action figure" does is feed the cats and scoop the litter boxes (not included). The only thing I don't like about this product is that, in my opinion, it doesn't come with enough cats. I've looked for an accessory pack, but there isn't one. If the manufacturer is reading this review, I have a suggestion: One or more accessory packs with more cats, litter boxes (with litter), and cat food (a large bag of dry food would be best, I think). This is great as a gift for your own crazy cat lady.

Bought this for a friend, who has more cats than can count. She rescues strays and then can't seem to get rid of them. She opened the gift and laughed while tearing open the package. She has the cats posed on her computer, and it brings laughter to everyone who goes in her office. Great conversation piece. Nicely made. She has little scratches on her hands, and is in her jammies and a robe. If you don't have a cat crazy friend, you might BE the crazy cat lady. If buying this for yourself, you will love it too.

the idea is funny, the doll itself is kinda creepy... wrinkled face, bags under her eyes, and the one i received has cattywampus eyes... i was not impressed... poor packaging, box was opened tape was hanging off sides, cats were just kinda "tossed" in there... obviously not "new" as advertised... also, i ordered and paid an extra $4 for the green/plaid outfit crazy cat lady and received the pink/purple outfit one... very disappointing as this was a gift for whom hates pink and purple ... on a positive... my sister thought the idea was hysterical as she has 6 cats herself. the item was delivered on time...
The actual toy looks better than the picture.

This action figure is amusing in a number of ways. For example, the cats all have different postures, emotional expressions, and colors (including a classic black cat). The "crazy lady" herself looks moderately disturbed. I think that this toy could be a helpful lecture starter when teaching about abnormal behavior, or about hoarding, or about other potentially relevant mental disorders. I was hesitant to purchase the action figure because the colors seemed washed out in the online picture. As it turned out, the actual colors are richer and much better than they appear on the picture.

I bought this for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, who have always been cat people, after seeing it on Dave Barry's Christmas Gift List. I always wanted to get something on that list, and since this was on Amazon and I have prime, it seemed like a good time. This is actually fairly sturdy as a doll (action figure, whatever), and the roars I got from everyone on Christmas morning was well worth the 8 bucks I paid for it. Excellent gag gift for that special cat lover you know.

My sister had two cats, her daughter moved back home...with two cats. Then sis brought in a stray they had been feeding...therefore...Crazy Cat Lady.
We generally don't exchange gifts but when I saw this I knew I had to send it to her though it was a little early for the holidays.
We had a good laugh over it when she called to yell into the phone that she is NOT a crazy cat lady!
Great gag gift for the cat collector in your life.

I've read other reviews, and I like this product because it puts humor where humor belongs. It's just plain funny!
I agree with other reviewers who would like to see the "lady" a little less scary looking, just because we love our kitty counterparts doesn't mean we have to look like children of the corn! I actually bought 2, 1 for my personal cat collection that the grandkids can play with if they like, the other for our displayed toy collection--because it's unique!
