Purchased a set of 2 of the racks. 1 warped during the first use. We are using them in a smoker to dry jerky so the temp does not go above 150 and there is very little moisture. Both are rusting. Can only imagine how much they would rust if used as steamer racks.

I purchased this 12.75" COMMERCIAL RESTAURANT STEAMER RACK / COOLING RACK for use inside a very large high quality stainless steel pot I use for steaming lobsters. This is a professional rack for use inside a pot that is large enough for its use, and will not fit inside your typical "small" household cooking pots.

Do not buy this if you intend to use as a false bottom in homebrewing. It was rust instantly and put a horrible metallic taste in your brew.

Used for BIAB Brew kettle for homebrewing. It is a little light weight for larger mashes but it works. It is nice solution for direct firing the mash.

Using as a steamer rack in an oversized (13-inch diameter) canning kettle. The rack supports the jars adequately (there's a bit of a bend under the weight of ten quart jars, but that is to be expected) but most of the weld spots are showing rust. Not sure how long-lived this is going to be, but finding a rack this size is difficult and if nothing else it's buying me time to find one of higher quality.
