I had a glass one of these as a kid, probably not the safest but it was much more satisfying to smack my brother with a solid glass wand than with a plastic one. I suppose as a parent purchasing these for my own children I should be thankful for that but I can't help but feel like my kids are missing out on the beautiful memory of sitting in time out while your mother holds an ice pack on your brothers forehead.

He stole my cookie and deserved it.

My son love it!! 😍�

It's about 12" long as seen in pics as wide as a fat crayon and thick plastic (not cheap plastic it's thick and pretty hard for kids to break) It has cute shapes and glitter that flow back and forth as you tilt it.

Definitely would buy again 😍�

My Third One & I'm Sure Not My Last

I have a 16 month old that discovered one of these I had from when I was a kid (found it when he was maybe 8 months). He loved it so I decided to buy him one of his own. The first was ordered just before Christmas and we got a red and white one so that was perfect, it looked like a candy cane! The second was purchased in February and that one was blue and white. I just ordered a third to add to his Easter basket and it's a beautiful deep purple and metallic gold. I know he'll love it as much as his others.

My son can be rough with these. Chewing on them, banging them on things, and getting them stuck in the spokes of his toy stroller. Yet they barely show a mark, so they're sturdy. He also likes to just lay on his blanket and stare at it, flipping it around to make the beads swirl. For such an inexpensive toy it's given him hours of untold joy, and I'm sure they'll continue to be a popular toy as he grows unlike many of his pricey, age specific baby toys. Plus they take up almost no space in my tiny house!

Every time these drop to about five dollars I buy another. By the time he's three I'm sure he'll have dozens, but I'm fine with it and so is he.

I think I enjoy this more than my child - but that's not why I give it a three star rating.

Unlike single chamber wands, this ones dual chamber design makes it a lot slower than other models of the same type of thing. Which loses the interest of the user.

It's pretty and sparkly but just, slow, and somewhat disappointing compared to other wands.

I got this in hopes it would slow my three year old boy down a bit if he could sit and watch something. The glitter falls nice and slow so as to capture his attention as he watches it fall. The wand is made of very hard durable plastic. This is important because in addition to nicely watching glitter flow down, he also likes to whack everything in the house with this thing! It's pretty indestructible. I wish I could say the same for our lamp shades.

This was smaller then described. Mine was 9/12"x1/2"wide. Not what I expected. I returned it. Not worth $6.

Sturdy, sparkly wand

Sturdy, sparkly wand. I bought this to entertain our 1-year-old and she gleefully runs around the house with it. She drops it, slams it, and it holds up well. I read some people complained that the glitter was slow, and I guess it kind of is, but the purple dust and gold beads move quickly and then the sparkly bits follow suit. I don't really notice a problem. There are neat swirls built within the wand that keeps the product moving smoothly. Good buy.

This wand is more like a skinny tube. I suppose it would be cute for a kid who wants to play as a magician, but my daughter did not like it. It's just filled with glitter. I thought it would have been a bit wider and had more things floating inside.

i knew ahead of time I would get random colors, but was at least thought I'd get a couple of different one. I placed one order, got a purple one and liked the product enough I placed an order for two more. Again I received purple. It would have been nice to at least get one in a different color. The kids on the school bus will still enjoy playing with them, but would have liked at least one alternate color. Also, they are not very big and the glitter flows a bit slow, but the warmer it gets the faster it moves.
