This pizza night light has improved my quality of life ...by amidge (5 out of 5 stars)

This pizza night light has improved my quality of life in ways that I can't even begin to express... Maybe through song lyrics, " And you light up my life, You give me hope to carry on. You light up my days and fill my nights with pizzaaaa."
Gives itself a lovely (lunar?) halo

I use this in the bathroom to avoid turning on the regular (read: TOO BRIGHT AT 3 AM) light at night, and against a white wall, it's effectively bright enough to dimly light the bathroom, while also being gentle enough not to destroy my retinas in the middle of the night. The image of the moon is why I wanted this, and I'm not disappointed in the least. This would probably be a great gift for your local astronomer (of any age) or anyone with an interest in cool household stuff.

REVERSED IMAGE of ACTUAL MOON!
by mazinman (2 out of 5 stars)

Beware, the image is reversed from real life! For $7.28 I expected this moon night light to at least represent the actual image of the moon, not a reversed image, especially when their own description states "Realistic 3D printed photo of the moon". My wife spotted the backward image first and that sent me off to reference materials to check to see if she was right. Sure enough the image is reversed.
Fun addition to nursery/playroom/kids bathroom

Not sure why there are so many complaints about a $6 nightlight. It's plastic. It lights up. It was only $6. What more do you expect? I would suggest getting an LED lightbulb for it as the one it comes with is way too bright and very hot. It this is for a baby/toddler room you won't want it to be hot for obvious reasons. Other than that it's cute! I put it in my kids' bathroom. I have the moon one as well and I think it's an adorable addition to the nursery.
Pleasant yellow glow

Gave as a gift, the recipient was quite amused & pleased! Gives off a nice warm yellow glow. Perfect for late night trips to the bathroom, especially because it has an on/off switch. Never again to be blinded by having to turn on the main bathroom light.
Cute nightlight!

Super cute nightlight! I have been wanting this nightlight for awhile and finally got it when the price went down to 5 bucks! I was surprised by how bright it was! The plastic isn't very thick so it could probably break easy but it does what it's suppose to do and I would definitely buy it again!
The subtle, sexy glow that this pizza nightlight shines ...

The subtle, sexy glow that this pizza nightlight shines transcends space and time. Sure, it might make me hungry everytime I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but I find the pros to significantly outweigh the con.
Really sucked, as a big sister

I bought this for my little sister last Christmas and it broke the first night she used it. Really sucked, as a big sister, to have my present not work... especially because she's afraid of the dark and it was a really cool new way for her to not be afraid. I got my money back but I don't want to take the risk of disappointing her again.
Very disappointed in product

Very disappointed in product. These were intended as a gift for Christmas. First order I made it arrived without packing material around it and didn't work, bulb was loose in its base! So then immediately put in for a refund and return. Then though I had time to try once more. Second order arrived quickly but that bulb didn't work either for what ever reason. Then decided to put new bulb in second base to see if it would work and to my surprise it did! Just relieved I didn't have to send the second one back.
Cheap and it does not work well

This light sort of works. The bulb is fine but the bottom part with the switch feels super cheap. The light only works if it is hanging upside down. I have tried on multiple outlets in my house and it only stays on when it is upside down.
You would think if you were paying this much for a nightlight that it would work no matter what direction you plugged it in.
I got this for a gift for someone. If I had more time before Christmas I would return it and get something different.
Not real happy with this purchase. I only give it 2 stars because it kind of works just not as intended.
Not quite as pretty when it's dead
by David Walser (1 out of 5 stars)

The first one I got died within a week. The seller issued a replacement order, and the replacement also died within a week. The second one didn't quite look right when it worked either. I had an older version of this product that I bought elsewhere in late 2007 which worked for just over three years. The current version seems to be very cheaply made and totally unreliable.
Broke after 10 days of use.

We bought 2 of these, one for each of our kids and saved them for the holidays. The kids used them each night for about 10 days. The bulbs worked great during that time frame and the kids loved the effects. One light was relocated to a different outlet and according to the manufacturer, you can rotate the socket so that it fits into the correct orientation for the outlet. Well, this didn't work and when rotating it back to the original, the bulb would no longer turn on. Since we had 2, I tried to swap one bulb for the other to test if it was the socket or the bulb. The bulb didn't work in the socket I thought was good. While attempting to remove the bulb from the socket, it separated from the metal end that screws into the socket. Now I have 2 of these lights with no way to make either of them work. I'm disappointed that the bulb broke in the socket while trying to remove it. I had read other reviews about this bulb breaking quickly but took a chance that unfortunately hasn't worked out. These aren't cheap so I am very surprised and frustrated. In fairness, I have contacted the seller for a return but have not heard from them yet.
Update: The seller is phenomenal! They have shipped replacement items and wanted to be sure we were happy with the product. We are willing to give this another try as they are neat night lights and the seller claims that they rarely have had issues with this product.
Update: one of the two replacements broke again. For the price, I'd buy a full sized one over this night light.
Do not buy poor quality, it will not last

Well my daughter came to me this morning and said, "Dad my light is not working" I tried and sure enough it is dead. We used only once in a while as it was more for show than an actual night light.
For the price I paid, I would have expected it to last longer than something I would buy at the Dollar store!
mine died, too...

Plus-one on the quick death: Mine buzzed and went out within 5 minutes of plugging it in. Some component in the base circuit board must have smoked, based on the smell.
