this is a simple toy/decoration that entertains the 2.5 year old. installed above his bed, making sure to clear the walls it provides nice entertainment at bedtime or morning - or before/after a nap.

three small screws hold the mount in the drywall, and 3ft of fishing line attach the plane via hook. clockwise operation looks like a plane flying in a circle (FAST!!). have thought about extending the line, but also dont want it hitting me in the head.

only thing is to stop it you need to grab the plane mid-flight or snag the line - no big deal really as it doesnt hurt and the propulsion is from a propeller on the back, the front one just twirls from the motion.

Great gift under $10

I bought this for my 2 year old nephew. Each time a plane flies overhead, he'll stop whatever he's doing and watch it. He does the same with this. Once you get it mounted, just turn it on and give it a toss in a circular motion. It may take it a few seconds, but eventually it'll keep going on it's own.

A couple of small problems I had were:
- The stickers began to peel off almost immediately after application.
- The wings don't snap in very securely; the smallest bump when turning it on/off will knock them loose.

Overall, a great gift for <$10.

It doesn't fly in circles as I expected

Nothing amazing happened when I turned it on and do a little push in order to make it fly in circles. Very frustrating.

After I pushed, it "flies" totally out of path because the propeller is not strong enough to put it in a right circle path. It's the same if you hang any static toy and push it in circles.

I didn't return it only because my little son got crazy w the airplane, and I've throw out the wire used to hang it.

It flew around in a circle for a couple of minutes and then the string snapped, the plane went in its own direction and crashed. Broken within 10 min ofbeing open. Disappointing.

Bought this for my son's transportation themed room. It does what it needs to do, it definitely flies around. My little bit loved it and it's easy to set up. I used double sided duck tape to place it on the crying so I didn't have to drill holes and it's held up very well this last week. The only thing would be that I also ordered the P-51, that airplane was much more quiet than this one as this one sounds almost as loud as a handheld vacuum. But would still purchase again.

Not very nice propeller to the back

Not very nice propeller to the back . Not realistic. Comes apart quite easily. Right now wing and body are separated somewhere in the house. Never got to hang from ceiling. Don't waste your money on this

Got this for my son as he loves planes. The construction quality is very sub par. The motor sounds like it's already about to seize after only 10 mins of use. Brushed motors do tend to sound like that sometimes though. Other than that it did entertain him and is still working. I just don't know how much longer it will last

It's a fun little toy

One of the two back rotor/blades on the back was broken before I even got it out of the box, but it still flies in a circle with only one blade powering it. Installing is kind of a pain if you don't have an extra set of hands, but it's simple enough. It's a fun little toy, my three year old son has it in his room and loves to watch it go.

My 4 year old was a little nervous moving to our new home, since he would be in his own room further away from my room. I decorated his ceiling with clouds and planets, and to top it off I bought a few of these to dangle from the ceiling. He went crazy over it. Very great to see such a classic product still being sold.

short flight time

it works but only for a short time. it seems that the ceiling anchor does not pivot smoothly causing the flying to stop.
