These look GREAT!

I have 3 panels next to each other and it would have been nice if this design had a set of 3 "matched" panels. (Their web site offers more designs vs what they sell on Amazon) but I used this panel along with the same panel without the "tree" and the Cirrus Clouds panel and it looks great. The picture I attached is lit via a string of LED light which I have around the outline of the panel. When I tried to take a picture with the actual lights on my phone camera couldn't deal with that much light. So the end result is much brighter vs what you see in the picture.

Changed the Whole Office

I recently moved to an office that did not have windows. I heard other people complain about not having a window and had very little sympathy for the, until it happened to me. People at work love it, though balk at paying $40 each for them, though I can say that after having these for a month, it was a very small price to pay. It changes the light significantly, and I no longer suffer from the "blues" that I had before. Excellent product.

I LOVE my skypanels. I am the envy of the office. New to the fluorescent office world, I was getting headaches every day and was very self-conscious about how my skin looked under the yucky light. People come into my office just to get a taste of nature. They are sturdy and so adorable. I can't speak for the ease of trimming them because the maintenance guy in my office was nice enough to offer to do it for me. I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone who is a free spirit stuck in a cookie-cutter space.

So far so great! Much nicer lighting than the florescent lights--cuts all the glare yet still adds brightness to a windowless office. Didn't have to try it. Took out the original grating and slid it in. This is not exactly easy to do and takes patience because the panel is stiff (which is not a bad thing), but was able to secure it under the stripes that secure the regular ceiling panels. I've gotten many compliments.

I love how my classroom is turning out, but they are not easy to install. I REALLY think they should come in different sizes so you don't have to cut them yourself, it is very hard to do. Where I cut them, they are chipped and cracked along the edges, but luckily it is hidden by the frame. Also, from my experience, there aren't enough clips in the packages to make them all lie smooth / no gaps. Some of them have a ripple in them which means I need to now order more clips. My tips to avoid less injuries are wear goggles and workman gloves and mentally prepare yourself for this task if you don't have a carpenter in your back pocket since the outcome of how they look is worth the blood I have shed.

I'm not a fan of fluorescent lights, but that's what I have in my kitchen. When my light diffuser broke, I couldn't find one at Home Depot that would fit the space. I was so happy when my boyfriend found this Skypanel diffuser on Amazon.com. It is so pretty. When it's on, it gives off a bluish tint, which is not the most attractive light, but the Skypanel is mostly blue after all, so I guess that's to be expected. But it's so very pretty and even looks great in the daytime when the light is off. In the gloomy, gray days of late fall and winter, it's lovely to see blue skies and blossoms.

I have an interior office with no windows and two panels of overhead fluorescent lights. Depressing and not great on the eyes either. I ordered this (and a second) diffuser and they are fantastic. I am so happy with this purchase and with the appearance of the room as a result.

Difficult to cut and install

I love the way it looks installed, but the installation is quite difficult. The old panel over the light cracked into 2 pieces when I took it down, which the janitor said was to be expected as it was old. I had no idea the sky panel would be so difficult to cut to size and you risk cracking the whole thing when you are cutting it and installing it as it is quite brittle. You also risk cutting yourself. I taped the old panel together to make a template for cutting the new sky panel. If the company could cut to size that would make it perfect!

This light looks much more natural than I expected. No blue tint at all. Could have been 5 stars if it wasn't so difficult To cut down to size. The edges are a mess, and I risked cracking the whole thing

Not as difficult to cut down to size as I thought it was going to be. Looks great once it's installed. Gives the room a completely different feel.
