Product Description

The Rainforest Rapids Amusement Park is an ultimate combo jumper! Each Blast Zone inflatable includes the inflatable unit, a UL approved blower, a storage bag or cinch straps - style varies depending on size/model, stakes for the blower and stakes for the bouncer. The inflatable unit rolls up to about the size of a medium to large sleeping bag (depending on bouncer). Most of our inflatable toys ship via UPS in one box that includes everything. To set up the bouncer, just unroll it, hook the inflation tube to the blower, turn on the blower and stake it down. The blower runs continuously while kids play, and air escapes through the seams and fabric.

Do you want to be the coolest parent in your neighborhood? If you do, buy this ;)

We bought this in Spring of 2015 and our kids loved it, the neighbor kids loved it, and it was used all summer long. We live in the desert of the South Western United States and it gets HOT in the summer. We considered a traditional swingset/ playground for our kids (3 yr old and 1 yr old) but since it is so hot they would't be able to play on the wood play set most of the summer. So we bought this instead. Our neighbor kids who have pools only wanted to play on this! They thought their pools were boring compared to this thing! We had numerous times were we had 8-10 kids playing on this at the same time. They ranged in age from 3-12 yrs old. Everyone had fun! I even have climbed in with the kids (220 pound 6,1' man) and bounced around and it held up just fine. The slide part does start to bend when I try to go down it but it does hold up enough for me to get down it! All and all, this was a fantastic purchase that I know we will use for several more years. My only complaint, is this is heavy to move around and store when not in use. I am able to fold it up and man handle it into our garage for storing. (This is of course after leaving it out on the lawn for a day or two to dry it out and then fold up) My petite wife (120 pound, 5,2') hated trying to move it by herself. Because the kids ALWAYS wanted to play on it though, she learned how to drag it around herself but it is difficult. Also, make sure you don't set it up in the same spot every time. It will kill your grass if your not careful. If you have read this review to this point, you must be interested in buying this. Do it. You and your kids will be glad you did. It is a good quality material, the blower has put in a lot of hours without burning out, and your kids will think you are the greatest parent in the world. Hope you have fun!

This is a GREAT bounce house if you're looking for a slightly bigger one!

So I was looking at a bounce house that weighed over 300lbs and thought "I will NOT be able to move this thing". So I started looking on Amazon. This thing was AWESOME! It has great reviews and it's pretty big so that's why I decided to get it. I mainly purchased it for my son's 4th birthday party (and to rent it out). We had a BLAST! We had around 10 kids in it at one time and it held up just fine. I was worried that the pool part might get too deep for the smaller ones that can't swim but it was fine! When it did get a little too deep for comfort I just drained some of it out. It IS heavy when rolled up but not terrible. I'm probably the biggest person that got on it and yes I'm posting pictures for the review! It held up great for the 5 hours we played on it and it inflates within 2-3 minutes. Very happy with this bounce house and looking forward to a fun summer in my own backyard!

Maintenance and sunscreen is the key.

Exceptionally nice item. Material is a little heavier/stronger than I have had in the past. This is my third. I live in the southeast Georgia. Sun and mildew will eat the material up; sun worse that anything. I have purchased a good quality marine grade spray potecterant and put in on the bouncer where ever the sun shone on it. It already has a noticeable effect over the time period it has been in use. As for the long time effect, time will tell. I intend to post at the 12, 18 and 24 month time frames.

Fun for all shapes and sizes- we have had kids, adults and babies play in here!

WOW!!! We love it! This has been great fun for the entire family. Our back yard has become its own amusement park. My two boys, now 4 and 7, loo forward to each summer when we can bring it out. We have had adults- kids- babies all play in here! We have ordered a few tent patch kits to repair minor tears- easy fix. This year we may look into upgrading the air pump- but we seriously use this ALL summer long. Its a pain to put away and takes up a lot of space in the garage during the winter months- but those do not dampen the fun it bring the whole family!

Five Stars

Loved it. Kids loved it. But have it less then 3 months and it is coming apart by the stitches in 2 different areas. Large holes!

Update: I usually don't write reviews but after spending $800 on this, I am very annoyed! My husband patched 2 holes. I just watched my 4 year old slide down the slide while holding onto the side and it ripped by the seems again. This is 3 totally different areas!!!!

Warranty says it's only good if u didn't try to fix it!

How to fit it in a bag!
by VT (4 out of 5 stars)

My kids really love this. Haven't used it wet yet but intend to now that it's getting hot out. I wanted to post a tip about storage. After trying multiple ways to fold it I've come up with a method that I think works best. I let all the air out by disconnecting the blower and untying the 2 short air hose oulets and let it deflate for a while on its own. Once it looks pretty flat I lay down at the front edge (the "pool" area) and I log roll slowly with my arms over my head, pushing the air towards the outlets. It's even better if my husband and I roll across it at the same time. Then I start at the pool end and turn it over onto itself in about one foot widths (not rolling it like a ball but folding it). This is also easier with 2 people but I've done it by myself as well. Then when you've done the last fold I fold it lengthwise in about 2 foot widths, pushing down on the roll with my knees and my full weight to get out even more air. Towards the end it's more like you're rolling it than folding it. Then I just push it into the carrying bag. I bought a separate handled wheeled storage case from Little Tikes that works pretty well.

So basically you're folding/rolling like a sleeping bag, but the log rolling bit at the beginning is the trick to getting out the most air!

Great Fun!

So far so good! My son (6yo) has had several cousins over to play on the Rainforest Rapids. It's been hours of fun. It's only been a week, but it's been study-- surviving the rough and toughness of my kiddo.

One suggestion for those planning to purchase this and live in a wooded area like we do-- purchase a tarp to cover it at night. We don't want to pack it up every night, and the critters really like the crevasses inside of the bounce house. Other than that, the kids love it.

Years of fun for kids of all ages
by Internet shopper extraordinaire (5 out of 5 stars)

We looked at all the bounce houses/water slides on Amazon and at Walmart and Target before choosing this thanks to all the great reviews. This will now be our third summer using it. It has had a ton of use and abuse and has never had a hole, it is so durable. We have left it out for weeks at a time and had multiple parties with kids from 1 to 9. When we say we are getting it out everyone shows up to the party. We are so glad we got it it's a great buy and a great value. It is heavy and requires two people to move it effectively. Also, it is tough to get it back in the bag but it can be done if you are strategic. If you figure out how many years you can use it the price is worth it.

Tons of fun wet or dry

We bought this for our Granddaughter. She loves it! Tons of fun wet or dry. Set-up is very quick. It took about a week from to arrive from date of purchase to front door delivery. It is bulky once deflated. Fabric is very durable and strong. We have yet to fit it in the storage bag that it comes with. We are planning on storing it in a plastic storage bin. We brought it to great grandma's so the kids would have some entertainment and stay cool. Very pleased with our purchase.

Great fun for the kids and even adults

Great fun for the kids and even adults. :) It was fantastic way to burn some energy instead of having the kids on the electronic devices. Didn't give it a full 5 stars because all my kids are complaining that the landing area can be pretty painful with no cushioning. I ended up buying two separate outdoor sleeping pad/self-inflate mattress to put underneath the slides at the landing area.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for!
by Jermey Moore (5 out of 5 stars)

I was on the fence about paying so much for one of these, but the kids use the heck out of them and put them through the wringer. We've had a Banzi one that lasted about a year, and we've finally retired it because it was tearing everywhere. We've tried some other was well only to return them due to being concerned about the quality. This slide is by far the most heavy-duty and durable one you can get that's not commercial. It's even held 160lb+ adults wrestling without issues lol. Hey, we got to have fun occasionally, too, right? :-). The slides are laminated, I believe, and seem to work even better! The one downside of it being heavy-duty is that it's cumbersome and a little bit more of a pain to put up, especially alone. We make sure to dry it out overnight, and we found the largest plastic container at Homedepot to store it in. Ours didn't come with a bag, but I prefer to use a more durable large plastic container. I make sure the container has a moisture absorber as well to avoid mold build-up.

Also, when I 1st set this slide up, I sprayed it down with Star Brite Waterproofing Spray. You can get a gallon jug of it on here. I've used it with my boat, and it keeps the bimini top mold-free and from fading due to UV. It's rated to be used on clothing, so I wasn't too concerned about using it here. Just make sure you give it 1-2 days to dry cause it does stink until it's thoroughly dried. I believe it will last even longer with this approach seeing how it works out for my boat. If you're on the fence, don't question it. You'll be better off, in the long run, having something that's going to last! PS. don't recommend letting dogs use it. We only had them on it briefly :-)
