Works with most Tangchu Baking LARGE Russian piping tips

Recently I bought Russian piping tips made by Tangchu Baking. Because I always use couplers I was eager to find some that fit. I bought these because it was suggested they might work. Here's what fits what: (1) Ateco coupler #404 fits all of Tangchu Baking's LARGE Russian piping tips in their 44 piece set EXCEPT for the two spherical balls, which fit on Wilton's large coupler, and (2) Ateco coupler #404 doesn't fit any of Tangchu Baking's SMALL piping tips in the 26 piece set, but Wilton's large coupler does the job. Brand names make a difference in fit.

This coupler is a perfect fit for BeBeFun 304 Stainless Steel Extra-Large/Jumbo Classical Cup Cake Piping Icing Decoration Tips & 20 Pieces 18 Inch Icing Decoration Extra Thick Strong Bags & 4 Silicone Ties Set for Baking. I tried a few others and was nervous I wouldn't be able to find one, so I was thrilled when this coupler fit.

This icing coupler worked wonderfully with my silicone icing bags and Wilco extra large tip. Sometimes you cannot just fill icing (or in my case, lotion) into the bag and squeeze out of the tip. You need a coupler to insure that the tip stays secured to the bag properly. this absolutely worked and I will not need to purchase a new one for a while. Durable plastic as well.

I will give this one star because it is indeed a coupler, however it does not fit the tip it was suggested to go with. The company will not allow me to return it and I bought three for a cake I wanted to make with three extra large star tips. Wasted $12 and not very happy with Amazon.

Took me a minute to figure out how to use this thing, but once I did I understood why it was necessary. I use this with the Ateco 6pc tip set and Wilton 16" bags. Together, as a beginner, I am able to make perfectly frosted cupcakes without a huge mess.
