I put this toy in the "Sea Animal" bin and did not tell them there was a new sea creature. When they noticed, the daycare kids fought over this toy and i wish i had bought 2! They both identified it as a Basking Shark, so good job! (Sometimes we wonder what kind of shark is this?)

They loved how they could put things in it's mouth and kept asking for marbles, drum sticks, anything they thought they could fit in it's mouth! Which of course turned into a teachable moment about what Basking Sharks eat! Thank you! I love it!

Pretty cool shark

This is another toy that I bought for my son to play with in the bathtub, he was so excited to see this basking shark when I opened the box. He has a fascination with them right now and for this one to be made with the mouth open in the gills open as well, is a really nice touch.
Inside the mouth where the gills are is also rigid like the gills so that is another nice attention to detail that was paid to this one

I like how they made the mouth open to show how they feed. Would be a good model for a marine educator.

Safari toys are the best. My four-year-old grandson has most of the collection of sea creatures, which prompted a visit to the aquarium. He loves them and has learned many facts about sharks, whales, and skates.

Bought this for my Grandson & he loves it!!! It is the perfect size too. I really thought it was going to be a little bigger But actually glad it's Not!! It's perfect size for him! He plays with it & the other sea life toys I got him on Amazon!! I will be purchasing other sharks etc..
