TO FIND THE PROPER CAP SIZE ON THE BOTTLE'S LABEL: Check the front label of your 3 or 5 gallon jug, it indicates the correct size cap to use. TO MEASURE FOR THE PROPER CAP SIZE: These sizes are NOT universal for all water jugs. Measure the OUTSIDE diameter at the top of the jug's neck opening. The size 48mm cap will work for jugs with an 48mm OUTER diameter neck opening, and the size 53mm cap will work for jugs with a 53mm OUTER diameter neck opening. These are also THREADED caps, and will only work with THREADED jugs. CAP DIMENSIONS: 48mm Cap (Inner Diameter: 48mm, Outer Diameter: 50mm), 53mm Cap (Inner Diameter: 53mm, Outer Diameter: 55mm). DESIGN FEATURES: Caps include a white liner to assure a good seal between bottle and cap (however liner does not create an airtight seal). Features ribbed sides for ease of grip when removing cap. QUANTITY OF CAPS INCLUDED: 2 caps.
