These were just okay, but not NEARLY as cute as pictured. They inflated fine and seemed to stay inflated fine. They curved and/or twisted slightly when inflated, but the kids didn't seem to mind. We received none of the colors pictured. In fact, we received no "colors" at all... All of the guitars we received were black or white. The whole guitar was one color (body, neck, head) - either black or white. Again, the kids didn't seem to mind (because they didn't realize there had been other color choices). It bothered me because the rest of the rock star party theme was very colorful like the ones pictured, so these seemed so plain and un-fun.

Okay for the price, colors aren't very 'random'

These are great for the price. They inflate easily, have a mouth seal so they don't leak too fast before you close it, and are a fun size with various colors. The main reason I'm giving this a three star is because of the inaccurate color assortment. First off, there's a purple that isn't shown in the picture so there at at least five colors, now knowing what other colors they may have. Secondly Their 'random' colors aren't so random. My favorite color is green and I was excited to get a green one. I did not receive one out of a dozen of them.

Pros:
- Easy to inflate.
- Fun shape and size.

Cons:
- Listing not entirely accurate.
- Has a plastic chemical smell when opening.
- Color variance is a bit off (Tons of one color and none of the other, even for being random)

Do....not....waste....your....money!

I don't think anyone expects party favors at a kids party to last. I am pretty sure everyone expects them to last for the party though! I went through 3 guitars before I found two that would actually inflate! Every other one just deflated super quick or didn't inflate at all. I even tried others and all in all I think less than half of these things would blow up. Good thing I didn't have as many kids show up as I thought or I would be contacting someone about needing to come over to my place and deal with screaming disappointed kids.

Not bad for some inflatable guitars

So I read all the reviews on this product before posting this one. There is definitely some confusion.

When inflating these guitars, if you squeeze the stem, air will flow freely out and it is almost impossible to seal up the stem before some air gets out. It took me about 3 guitars to realize this- the stems all have an air stopper. Not sure that is the best way to describe it but this might help further. DON'T SQUEEZE THE STEM WHEN INFLATING THEM. The air will go in fine without squeezing the stem and the air will not leak out. You can seal these up without losing any air if you don't squeeze the stem. Squeezing the stem is only necessary to deflate the guitar.

For my purchase, it was simply to add to the theme of my daughter's 5th Rock Star birthday party. They worked perfectly and all of them seemed to hold air just fine. I even had kids hitting each other with them and they still were fine.

Very good value for the price and they did the job I bought them for so I have to give this product 5 stars.

These things are much smaller than they look. I would say that preschool aged children would find these suitable. Bigger kids just use them to whack each other, which is fine with me, because they don't hurt! I did not expect them to last long because they were inexpensive, but I have a few floating around this house that are still used as weapons!

Goody bag toys are not made well. If you are expecting perfection from a tiny inflatable party favor, you will be disappointed! I would suggest either purchasing these enough in advance that you can try them before giving them out, or purchase more than one box and send back the defective ones as you find them!

Good product; colors not as pictured (ok for us, but if you need specific colors be aware)

Second time buying these -- loved them so much the first time (a year ago). 2 dozen each time. Same quality this time (one dud), but they changed up the colors. In 2015 we received pink, light blue (as pictured), dark blue, and orange (not pictured). I'm not a huge fan of the dark blue, and they seem to be more squishy (maybe something with the valve?) but they will do for our "rock it out" themed party. In 2014 received pink, light blue, red, and green (as pictured). This year purchased a foot pump to help with inflation. I liked it; my husband prefers just to blow it up like a balloon. We paired with inflatable microphones and 80s glasses (both years) and this year added in funny hats and bead necklaces. Co-ed party for 6 year olds. Used all the props during part of the party, and then had kids take them home in lieu of a separate good bag.

Smaller than I expected

So deceiving... The pics of lil kids makes the guitars look bigger. I couldn't even blow one up without a balloon pump lol. I thought they could at least be used for props for 10 year olds but the 2 yr olds would luv these. Great for filling in decor for theme party. I gave mine away in a raffle so it was a win win for me n the kids. The 5th graders had there own fun with them. So it worked out

Not pleased! Not as pictured!

These are dinky wee guitars and are not the ones shown in the picture. I had bought some 42" guitars (http://www.amazon.com/Inflatable-Guitars-42-inch-PKG/dp/B000WEAGVC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1396185481&sr=8-2&keywords=inflatable+guitar) previously for a party, and wanted to buy the same again. I saw the picture for this item, recognized the guitars as the ones I wanted and so bought them. My bad for not reading the item description, but these are 22 INCHES long and therefore only suitable for a child of say 3 years old, not the 6-year-olds at my son's party (who are no doubt wondering why they were given inflatable ukeleles in their goody bags). I didn't realize this until after the party so obviously returning or exchanging them are options at this point.

They are small!

I was excited to buy these for my campers this past summer but was very surprised to find not full-sized inflatable guitars, but miniature ones!

Well, my campers didn't know the difference (they were a surprise gift) and loved them anyway. We had a lot of fun goofing off with them and they could deflate them easily to pack for the plane trip home. It was disappointing to me, however, because had I known how small they were I'd have looked for a better deal. I thought I was getting a bargain for full sized air guitars, but instead I was basically paying full price for small ones. While they didn't meet my ideal, they met my budget and brought smiles to the kids- that's what they were for! :)

Tiny guitars, many leaks, worth it for a 1 night costume

These were just ok, luckily they came in a 12 pack because over half the package had leaks and would not hold any air. The ones that did hold air, only did for a short time and deflated rather quickly. Also, they are TINY like not aduly sized at all, made me look like I had an electric ukulele. Haha but they are perfect sized for my toddlers.
