I put three of these in over the weekend for outdoor work and security cameras. The install was quick and easy. It provides a good barrier to the elements and is easy to open up with gloves on. There is a small notch cut in the corner of the enclosure so you can loop a small lock through and secure the cover. It does not have space to run a cable through, even if you had a low-profile, right-angle plug. If that's what you need, look at the TayMac enclosures with more depth.

The enclosure comes in two parts and you can assemble it based on whether you want it to swing open along the long or short edge. The hinges are open so you have to really push and wiggle the lid onto the base. I was nervous I would break it but I didn't.

I used GFCI outlets and you can see the finished product in the pictures. There are adapters in the kit for other outlet types and sizes. I didn't use any of the extra parts.

Wireless doorbell cover

I use this as a cover for my wireless doorbell outside to keep it from getting wet and it is absolutely perfect. So easy to use and assemble. I didn't know when I bought it that you could change it from side opening or top opening. Totally pleasant surprise. I love this.

The plastic on these must be made out of kryptonite ...

The plastic on these must be made out of kryptonite. I had to tweak the cases of them to fit a few really tight spots and in doing so I put a lot of pressure on the plastic with screws. There were no cracks at all in the casing on any of the outlets I installed. The fit was so tight that I even had to use an oscillating tool and cut off the top ears of the casing because I only needed the side opening functionality and the top clearance was 0. Even with all that, the casing didn't crack. Thumbs up Taymac!

It was easy to install and paint. The cover and gaskets prevent water from entering the receptacles. Plus, there are accessories for fitting standard and Decora housings. Satisfied!

It's not as clear in the description, but this works for a duplex outlet. It can open both up and sideways as well. I bought two full sized covers from the company and this thin version is the same outstanding quality and easy to use.

Worked great until the screw holders melted. I'm in VA weather it has been 70 to 95 degrees in direct sunlight. I gave it 3 stars in case it's my fault and I wasn't supposed install under direct sunlight. Looked real good while it worked

Lid closes but won't snap close like is suppose to, dissatisfied with the cover.
