Product Description
Though not much smaller than a golf ball, the STKR Magnetic Light Mine is a powerful task light that can be used almost anywhere illumination is needed. It has an intensely bright, wide-angle LED and 12 powerful rare-earth (neodymium) magnets that allow you to stick it to any steel surface or rest it on any surface and aim the light towards the workspace at nearly any angle. Professionals, including automotive technicians, electricians, plumbers and HVAC contractors, will want to have one on-hand, as it is small enough to fit into tight areas while having the ability to aim a powerful beam of light where it is needed most. Because of its 12 rare-earth magnets, it also works as a “pick-up” tool for dropped screws, nails and hardware. Do-it-yourselfers and homeowners will also find hundreds of uses for the STKR Magnetic Light Mine. Use it when working on an engine, changing a tire, wiring a home theater, switching on a breaker, or crawling around under a counter or sink. It will stick to the refrigerator, making it the go-to flashlight for the whole family, and it’s great to have on camping trips. The potential uses are endless!Features
- Get light into tight spaces
- Very powerful 12 rare-earth magnets allow aiming in any direction
- Lumen tech high output, wide angle, intensely bright LED
- Legs act as tripods to aim light if there is no metal to stick to
- Batteries are included

No quality control, save your moneyby TN Nick (1 out of 5 stars)

I purchased a 5 pack. The first unit I opened is so dim as to be unusable. So I opened another one. It is bright, but when I set it next to the first one, it actually attracted a magnet out of the light. Afterwards I set the bright one on the kitchen sink and when I picked it up, the magnet was still stuck to the sink. Both units have switches that are very crude and difficult to reliably operate. Would be impossible with gloves. I have no intention of opening the three remaining since the first two are defective. Amazon can have them back.
Batteries are NOT replaceable.

These are great until you need to replace the batteries - they state they are replaceable, but they are not. If you can get it apart without breaking the tabs, you'll never get it back together. These are basically disposable. Once the batteries are shot, toss it in the trash.
Dead batteries upon arrival, but otherwise decent product.

I bought 4 as gifts, including one for myself. I'm glad I did, because mine came in and wasn't working (one of the ones I gave as a gift has been confirmed as working upon arrival, but the other two have not been taken out of their packages yet. I'll have to ask them later whether or not they worked right away). There are no instructions that come with the light, the QR code on the package gave an error message, and not much popped up on google about this product. Another reviewer mentioned the batteries being dead on arrival when theirs came in, but they couldn't figure out how to change the batteries. I looked on mine and there is a small tab, in the seam where each half of the light comes together. You can push a small flathead screwdriver into that tab and pull the two halves apart. I was worried I would break that tab by pushing on it with the flathead, which is ultimately what happened, but it seems to be better that way. It's a little easier to pull apart now, but it still fits together tight enough that I don't worry about it coming apart when I don't want it to. After replacing the batteries I can confirm that was indeed the problem. Other than the dead batteries, the light is fantastic. It's really bright and the magnets are strong. So far I'm happy with the product.
Works after going through the washer

I just pulled mine out of the washing machine after a full hour long cycle and to my surprise it clicked right on. So I guess it's waterproof? Great quality and bright light.
Much smaller than they appear.

I know it gives the measurements but these things showed up a heck of a lot smaller than I expected. Yes they give some light but they are so small they are more of a toy than a tool and even at that they are so small they will get lost easily.

i too loved these little gems but after the batteries wore out i lezt on a couple times n fell asleep. looked at comments on how to replace batteries. ( actually easy) then opened found leaking batteries n a switch (that i felt was a little weak to begin with) had burnt n got real hot. almost melting through the plastic body. ( see pic) . so -1 for me .i dont think they want it open to replace or see how bad its made.
Unique gift!

I bought these for stocking stuffers and they are pretty cool! They stick to any magnetic surface and can be rotated to beam the light in the direction you need it. The light is pretty bright, but the beam is pretty small. It would be better if the light beam were larger, or if the whole item were larger. Maybe they could create a larger version of it (or maybe they have one and I don't even know it)? Overall it was a unique gift that will come in handy for working in small dark spaces, but I don't think it would work very well to light a large area.
Great small light for tight places.

The first one we ordered did not work, but the company promptly sent a replacement. The second worked great. Very handy gadget to work on motors. It came fast and it was a no hassle replacement which was great. I would definitely recommend this seller.

Just came in the mail, and was excited to try it out. Many of the reviews about the switch being stubborn or touchy is true. I don't know about the other's " Light Mine " but I believe I just figured it out, with the item I recieved. When you move the switch to the on position , you want to make sure the switch is all the way, ( With mine their is a small click that holds the switch in place). Before ,figuring this out, the light would shut off unless I held the swith down. Not sure if this seems to be the reason for others that are having problems .
Good little light

Good little light. It's a general flood light, not a focused light, and it's very blue, not a natural light color. But it works as advertised and I'm happy with it.
