Good idea, but...by hambro (2 out of 5 stars)

I had seen this somewhere and loved the idea of being able to hear my music better in the shower/bath (who doesn't:). When I got it I followed all the instructions and hooked it up. The problem is that it only has two volume settings, low and high and high is still really low. Also, you can hardly hear the voices, only the music. I was really disapppointed and tried everything I could think of to make it louder and change the settings, but there is really not much to it. What a waste!
Not worth the money

Sound is horrible using the receiver. the only thing it's useful for is the FM radio in the shower but even then its sub par to any small radio. just leave your music on the sink and turn it up.

works great and sounds better than most speaker bombs.
Doesn't work well

This item does not work well. You literally have to have the egg right next to shower in order for the duck to pick up the music being played- the whole point was to be able to keep my phone away from the shower as to not ruin it. I would not recommend this item!

It does not work like it says it will. It just would totally stop working plugged into my phone. The radio would stop until I changed stations again.

Horrible

This item was horrible. It's a great idea in theory but doesn't work properly. I think my was broken when I got it. The frequency for the radio never seemed to work. They say there are two volumes low & high but it's more like low & lower. When hooking up my iPhone to the egg & bringing the duck to my bathroom it didn't work properly and you couldn't hear anything. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Speaker quality is lacking

I saw this cute little duck on Pinterest and immediately knew I had to have it! It arrived pretty quickly from overseas - about 2 1/2 weeks prior to the ETA Amazon had given me. I used it a handful of times and while the speaker quality isn't great it didn't both me too much. The last time I tried using it I couldn't get the music from any of my idevices to play, it was just static. I tried scanning and resetting it with no luck but I didn't have much time to play with it. I still haven't had a chance to play around a bit more with it to see if I can get it working again, but I haven't given up hope yet either.

Poor quality. I never could use it. It doesn't work at all.
Spend your money in another speaker, really. x
