I saw this candy dish on Pinterest and knew I had to have it. It looks exactly as it is pictured! The glass isn't too thin like other reviews made it out to be. It's such a fun little candy dish. Shipping was fast and the packaging was secure!

Cute & thin
by Some Amazonian (4 out of 5 stars)

Design -- Love it! Very cute. Decent size (about two cups). I'm sure visitors won't be able to stop themselves from having a few sweets.

Quality -- Glass is thinner than expected. I have ordered two. The first one arrived scratched and with a chip on the rim. No sharp edges. The package was not damaged. The second one is in great condition and the bottom isn't fully flattened - it spins in place.

Overall --

I love it!

Always a great talking piece in our house!

Great household piece! We've had it for 2 years now and it's been moved multiple times with us to multiple apartments in different states and it's still in great condition! It is a thinner glass, but not what you would expect to feel when you hear "thin glass". It's certainly not thick, but it's not extremely delicate either.

We've used this to hold a variety of different things. I'm not sure if it's recommended, but we've put it in the dishwasher. It's held dog treats, candy, bags of tea, pens/pencils, peanuts, coins, etc. Even the heavy stuff like the change hasn't damaged the glass in any way.

Fun and cool candy dish!

Very cool and fun candy dish. Don't pay attention to any reviews saying that the glass is too thin, etc. It is the exact thickness it should be, and the product appears to be durable and well-made. Perfect for Peanut M&M's for the holiday season. Highly recommended!

Conversation Piece
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)

I saw this while looking for a candy dish that wasn't the usual cut glass looking type you can find any where. I immediately fell in love with the unique look of it - a glass ziplock bag - who would think of that? It is the source of many stares and questions - how did you get a ziplock bag to stand up? A closer look reveals it's actually glass. It is a thinner glass but I certainly don't think it's cheap or flimsy feeling. Mine is sitting on an end table and holds my husband's favorite Werther's Originals and Werther's Soft Caramel Chews. They are wrapped in gold and look so pretty in the clear glass.

Different was what I was after and different and whimsical is what I got. I could not be more pleased with this candy dish. I am highly recommending it but suggest taking a bit of care with it. Certainly not a deal breaker for me.

Update: I now have two of these - one for the family room end table and a second back in our home office. I've just ordered a third to take along on our RV trip as a gift for my SIL. She loves quirky things, entertains a lot and she'll get a kick out of this candy dish. I'll fill it with Lindor chocolate truffles. I love everything about it.

Great Gift
by JD (4 out of 5 stars)

I love this bowl as a candy dish. I purchased this as a gift for my husband and he really likes it. He is the type of person who is hard to buy a gift for because he already has everything. So I like to get him unique and funny gifts. I almost always end up finding something from Fred and Friends.

This glass bowl is really whimsical and cute. I've seen people who've used it as everything from a fish bowl to a cereal bowl. It's great for a desk or coffee table to have as a conversation piece. My one issue is that the glass is very thin. You have to be super careful with it. I'm a clumsy type. So I'm kind of worried about needing to wash this in the near future because I'm afraid I'll bonk it and it will shatter. I also have to keep it up high, away from my 3 year old. And I have to keep it in a cabinet because of my cats who jump on things. But my husband still loves it and does keep candy in it.

Cute little conversation piece

It was smaller than I expected, but I love it. It holds candy on my desk and is the topic of conversation when someone is partaking from it. It's been knocked off the desk a couple of times and has not broken. Not saying it wouldn't, but so far I've been lucky. If it does eventually break, I'll just buy another.

How do some people define "Thin" ?
by Artessia (5 out of 5 stars)

I almost did not purchase this item because so many described this adorable, little glass baggy as being made with very thin glass. I am SO HAPPY that I went ahead and purchased this for my son anyway! I will say adorable again. It is absolutley adorable! The glass is VERY sturdy and, in my opinion, it is NOT thin at all. It is not a super thick glass either but definitely not thin. I would describe this glass as having a medium thickness. I also like that their are no "edges" at the seams or the opening at the top. It is wonderfully smoothe all the way around. I recently took our upstairs gameroom and decided to make it like a "my first apartment" / Man Cave for my teenage son :) I filled this with Jelly Belly Jelly Beans for my sons "living room" shelves and he just loves it. All of his friemds have asked where we bought this from. Go figure... Who would think a bunch of teenage boys would have such a fit over such a thing? HaHa! LOL they ALL love it though :) Just as with any glass item- gravity + any hard surface is not glass friendly- but to descbe this as fragile or "thin" is way off in my book. This has a very nice weight and feel to it with a super smoothe finish and the glass is crystal clear. I am now ordering another one for myself :)

It looks pretty cool and serves its purpose
by Yotz (5 out of 5 stars)

I got this as a gift to use as a candy bowl. It looks pretty cool and serves its purpose. I originally did not feel good about this, as it is a fairly thin glass, but after accidentally dropping it a few times (maybe 4 inches above the table) I have changed my mind. It is well made and much sturdier than I originally thought.
