Bad helmet design, poor fit, low quality materials

This was a little bigger than expected, according to the size chart on the bag. For example, Medium is supposed to fit a pug, but I guarantee that a the sleeves would be too long on even the largest of pugs.

The pictures misrepresent the product. The helmet in the photo shown in the photo does not look like the one i received. The helmet that comes with this costume is thin, cheap plastic that is bent in such a way that it will never sit on a dogs head the way it does in the picture. The helmet came completely flat, this is not an issue with the shipping packaging, but the product packaging itself as it comes in a regular costume bag that you would expect to see at a store and the helmet simply can't be in the bag without being pressed flat. Additionally, the helmet doesn't even look like the one in the picture. The picture clearly shows a ridge going up the helmet, there is no ridge, which makes the helmet not recognizable as Darth Vader's.

The rest of the costume is barely adequate, but I've seen pet costumes that stay on much better, there are a lot of pieces that just hang wrong. This is a cheap costume though, so I suppose if you plan on adding to it, it may suit your needs.

I gave it a 3 stars because of the helmet I bought a large for my cat because he's extremely big so the outfit fits but of course the helmet doesn't I didn't want to put the helmet on him anyway I really had high hopes for it though not because it's extremely big but how it's made cuz I cldve fixed and bought a new helmet for him but look how cheaply made it looks so I was extremely disappointed though but other than tht he'll only wear for a few anyways that's all

Because the sizing said a small fit a chihuahua, I went with the medium for my miniature schnauzer. Unfortunately, the medium is way too large. This is probably my fault as I was so excited about the product that I didn't measure my dog first (she's 15 lbs. and I thought that was way larger than a chihuahua). Overall, however, the product met expectations because it was meant as a fun gift (who doesn't want a darth vader dog for Halloween? :)) and so it definitely fit that fun hope.

Cheap and crumpled

Totally disappointing. I couldn't believe that, with all the old negative reviews, Amazon would continue to carry this product. I figured that the problems with crumpling of the mask/headpiece would have been remedied by now. NOT. Super lame. Like everyone else, the mask arrive folded and crumpled with no hope of straightening it out. The costume, though cute, was going to fall apart with one scratch, the left arm was barely attached. Returned.

The costume did the job for the price. The part that goes on the actually body wasn't bad, but the Darth Vader hat was just impossible to put on, they should of just made it like a material mask.

I got this as a gift for my neighbors Dalmatian, size large was perfect, thinking that their son could play Star Wars with their dog better. He got upset and ended taking the costume and wearing it himself, if you didn't know it was made for a dog it looks great on a six year old boy.

cute costume. was a bit disappointed in the hat. does not really look like some of the darth vader costume hats I have seen. Just a black flap. Dog looks adorable in it, tho. 7yr old grandson is happy.

This was for our pug. He was a little unsure of his new clothes but one he got use to it things were okay. He looked so adorable as Darth Puppy!
