Love the series!by LENORT (5 out of 5 stars)

My 8-year old son has the whole Architecture LEGO series. He really enjoys buliding all different LEGO sets and the Architecture is his latest. We have every single set of this series (he is currently working on the Robie House), but he has all of them dispayed on shevles in his room. These sets have not been all that challengng for him as we thought they'd be since they are mostly geared toward the 10/12+ crowd, but each set comes with wonderful instructions and a book explaining the history of the building and he really enjoys looking at the boxes, book and his finished products! We are waiting for the release of Big Ben in June of 2012! I think that this is a great way to get kids to learn about some history while having fun building LEGO's...and our 130 lb. Rottie has got his teeth on a few LEGO pieces that have found their way to the floor and they are still in great condition and able to be used - glad the product is durable, especially for the cost!
Not quite the same standard

I was gifted the Lego Architecture set of Falling Water for the holidays. The set was enjoyable to put together and has some wonderful little details considering its size. Looks great on my shelf just below a photo of the actual house.
So considering my enjoyment of that product I purchased this one. Now I very well understood that paying less would get me a smaller model. I had read the reviews here on the site before purchasing it. I just wish that the model was closer in structure to the Falling Water model. The way that the Falling Water model easily slides apart to reveal different sections of the house is wonderful. This model has none of that.
With all of that being said, I still enjoy having it sit on my shelf next to the Falling Water model and intend to eventually purchase the Robie House to complete the set.
A Little Thing of Beauty

I know a lot has been said about some of the Lego Architecture series, how it's overpriced and too easy to put together.
I, myself, have never been a Lego fan, but I started buying the Lego Architecture series after several debilitating episodes of vertigo. Finding it near to impossible to concentrate or lean over, I worked on Legos to force my vestibular system to adjust.
The Solomon Guggenheim is my favorite so far. I've stuck primarily with the New York pieces, but the Rockefeller Plaza and Empire State Building are too blocky. The Guggenheim's curves make this piece a must have for anyone.
Nice Change of Pace for Legos

I bought this for my 10-year-old son who's Lego crazy. Although it was a very simple project for him (It took about 10 minutes), at least it was something different from a Star Wars spaceship. The finished product is a nice keepsake with a nameplate, but it is surprisingly small (not even four inches tall) so it seems like a lot of money for something so small and easy to assemble, but it is one that will remain on display in my son's room. If you like Frank Lloyd Wright it is a cool change of pace as far as toys go.
Cute, but...

This thing looks less and less like the building the more I look at it. Its a cute idea, and I did enjoy it, but... I dunno...
The instruction booklet was nice - half of it is information about the building.
Also, it was way over priced for what it is - though the price has come down quite a bit since I purchased it.
Its a great idea. I hope lego keeps it up. I just hope they perfect it a little more.

Got this for my adult daughter who is into interior design and architecture. She had asked for it and had a great time assembling it. She'd love to have the Falling Waters set, but I'll have to wait for it to go on sale! She sent me pictures after she assembled it and it looked just like the picture on the box.

My grandkids (and I) love legos. I thought an Architecture set would be something out of the ordinary to give them for Christmas. Well it was assembled in 10 minutes and is TINY! 4 inches tall and that was the wall in the back ..... for 60 bucks???? WAY OVER PRICED

My girlfriend brought me this when she went to New York on vacation. Just came back, we went to her house to put it together. It was very fun! I'm planning to create a LEgo Architecture collection, so I hope I can buy more of this
Great toy for an older child or adult.

This was a Father's Day gift for my husband. He love architecture and Legos, so it was the perfect combination. He loved the set, and had fun with our 6 year-old son putting it together. However, I was a surprised at how small the end structure is. The size is in the description, but it still is quite small when all assembled. Regardless, it's a nice set to have and we look forward to buying other sets from this collection of Legos.
Smaller than I thought!

This is a great set and I love that it is a really good representation of the actual architecture. My only complaint (and I realize I could have figured this out pre-purchase had I carefully read the measurements) is that it is TINY! When spending $50+ on a Lego set I had a certain size in mind for the finished product and it is about a third of the size I had in mind. So it's a bit expensive for what you get, but still a good set.
