the body part is a bit darker than in the picture, but that doesn't detract from it. I thought it would at first, but once I got it hung up it was amazing. As other reviewers said, it is VERY long.. I cut a foot off of it.. however! I would much rather cut some off than have it be too short. I've known people personally who have bought shower curtains that were too short and had to return them. So I would say they're just covering their bases. It cuts easily if you use sharp scissors and pull it taught. Its a decent thickness, actually more thick than I figured it would be, as it appears to be more of a novelty item than an item made for durability. All that said, I 100% recommend this to any horror buff or anyone looking to freak out some friends (especially if you have paranoid shower checking friends hehe)

And a nice perk, it doesn't have that awful horrible new shower curtain smell either!

Edit: 7 months later and it's still going strong. No rips no tears all in all it's holding up better than some shower curtains I've had in the past. still 5 stars and still strongly recommend!

Not too scary...

I'm decorating my bathroom in all-white. Boring yes, but rather than simply use a plain-white shower curtain, I saw this interesting design and decided to undo my boring plain-white room with a subtle shadow on the durtain. I had an adjustable curtain rod, so I was able to elevate it to accomodate the length of the curtain. It wasn't advertised, but the curtain came with it's own white-circular curtain hooks. The best effect, is not in the bright light, but in an indirect light, such as a night light or the light from another room.

This shower curtain was a big hit at Halloween. A few of my victims; I mean guests; were struck speechless. I actually had to open the curtain when I was home alone if I wanted to use that bathroom. It was just unnerving to be in the room when the curtain was fully extended. I feel it's well worth the price.

While it is a fun item to have in your bathroom, and has caught quite a few people off guard, the weight of the curtain is very light and seems that if it is tugged on at all by a child that it would tear easily.

I babysat for my sisters family and subtlely swapped out shower curtains while they were gone. My brother-in-law was totally confused, which is just as good as startled and probably more expected as I didn't get the wrinkles out first before I hung it up so the figure was a bit harder to make out. At any rate it was one of the best ludicrious purchases I've ever made.

Great effect. Curtain is thin, but just fine as a liner. Works great BEHIND another semi translucent curtain. Satisfied for the price.

For the price of this shower curtain I expected more. It's the same thickness as the dollar store liners I use. The design is very cool but the product itself is cheap. Be afraid.
